Property is very nice, breakfast was delicious and the staff very kind too. Reason for the 3 stars: location directions and address were not accurate, we had to drive around to finally find it. This week the pick hot temperatures were not a surprise, however we would have appreciated a better ventilation system if not a portabile AC. The room was very very hot.

Overall a very comfortable nights accommodation. The facilities in the room were more than adequate and we particularly enjoyed the design and furnishings. Staff were very attentive, although I sensed were somewhat short staffed and rushed on occasion. The only slight drawback was the delay in serving meals, which were nonetheless delicious, and a reflection on the design and lack of separation between the eating and booking/bar areas. I would recommend the Harcourt Arms as an attractive and comfortable short stay, nestled in a lovely part of the country.

Check the small print - for a 5* listed property only a 3 hour check-in window was offered without pre-arrangement. I occasionally stay in other hotels in the area without an issue as a night porter would usually be available to assist upon late arrivals - I find it concerning that no staff member would be available on-site overnight, or out of hours contact details would be provided. No answer on the listed phone number when called, no contact from the property prior to leaving for the evening, hard to follow up with any support from Hotels.com for a Platinum Member. Naturally, no problem with collecting monies from the Credit Card however!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Harcourt Arms. On arrival we were shown to a much bigger room than we were expecting. Very comfortable bed. Nespresso machine and lovely tea bags in the room. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Extremely clean throughout. Fantastic bar with so much choice. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommend.

Fantastic we stayed in Blenheim suite it was just perfect nice and clean the hotel as modern touches twined with original features. Bar so cosy. Breakfast was made to order and was lovely. Brilliant staff with a warm welcome. Will definitely be returning.

The whole venue is simply amazing. Beautiful building, great atmosphere, very cosy with the multiple log fires. Our room (Blenheim suite) was absolutely stunning. There is nothing I would change about this place! Keep up the great work! We will definitely be back, next time we will eat dinner here (we only stayed here to visit Clarkson’s Farm and the Farmer’s Dog but were left underwhelmed with the food in the Farmer’s Dog).
