Apart from a confusing check in procedure. (No information on how to check in from Expedia) And when I approached the staff in the restaurant they blamed it on my having incorrect details on file - which was false as Expedia never share guests information with 3rd party provider. Malt house should of reached out and sent information prior to our stay about check in. Also disappointing that once we arrived to rooms, it explained about 24 hour noise from cotton factory next door. Would of been nice to know this beforehand and we could of made the decision to cancel or not. They provided cheap ear plugs that did nothing. For the price of 2A and 1C (not even a 3rd bed) only two kings, it was over priced The air conditioner in both rooms operated with a flashing green light all night, so it was either be cold or forced to be kept awake by the green light & the nearby noise. Rooms were clean and tidy, good amenities. Suggest having menu in the room compendium also, instead of walking down in the dark and cold to look if it was vegetarian and/or child friendly.

The room was above our spectations - the room had a magnificent feel too it -the views out our window make us speechless the room set up was excellent - and it had a pod machine - the staff where very friendly - we had a mishap at tea time when delivering our meal …- and the team went above and beyond to rectify the problem /highly recommend anyone to stay there

Really good stay worth having trip to get relaxed

The staff was great. Check-in and out were very convenient. But we saw a red-belly snake around our accommodation, so we feel very unsafe.

The whole place and service was immaculate. Third time staying here and it gets better every time. Will definitely be staying again.

Was an excellent stay with equally excellent restaurant, check for opening hours. Staff were helpful, efficient and very knowledgeable. Would stay here again.

Better than we could have imagined

Amazing! Highly recommend. Especially with kids. Loads of activities. One tip though is if you aren’t there for Friday/Saturday night to take something for dinner as there isn’t much near by. Or we got some takeaways from the restaurant in the arvo and had a cheese platter for dinner from there.

A little noisy at night as Southern cotton gin was operational at night.

It’s a perfect location and room is self contained very nice. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back again in holidays.

Completely unexpected gem between Sydney and Adelaide. Needs to be advertised as a great restful stop option. Will be back.
