Pros: - Very kind staff, they really seemed to care about their clients. - 24/7 check in and services including WhatsApp communication in need of assistance. - I mentionned to the staff what I had difficulties with (see cons about humidity) but they informed me that there wasn't much they could do to help and couldn't accommodate me with another room at that time. They did clean the room however which was appreciated even though it didn't feel dirty. - Staying over at this hostel is actually pretty OK if youre staying for one night only, having in mind the cons. We weren't very lucky with our Machu Picchu tickets so we had to stay over for three nights. Cons: - We had a very humid room. Our hair, clothes, bed sheets and blankets were very damp and it felt cold and extremelyuncomfortable. The air was difficult to breathe at night as it was heavy with humidity. The building itself is overall open with no real way to dehumidify the room other than keeping the windows open. - The city is very loud at night, our neighbors were pretty loud and screaming from the rooftop of the building as well, but this was acceptable in my opinion... - There was a very loud compressor-type of noise going on and off every minutes or so, it made it very difficult to relax and fall asleep. - The rooms windows are made in such a way that if your curtains are open people will be able to see you from the hallways, so keep that in mind for your privacy/intimacy purposes.

The property felt like it was under construction, and the entrance looked like the aftermath of a frat party. There was pounding construction noise all day, which was especially frustrating after being up since 3 a.m. and trying to rest. The room was decent for the price, and the staff was initially friendly and helpful. The next day, I moved into a private room. While waiting, I was using a portable charger to charge my phone since all my belongings were already packed. When my new room was ready, I unplugged my phone, put it in my pocket, and set the charger on the bed so I could carry my bags downstairs. Once in the new room, I realized the charger was missing. I went back immediately, but housekeeping had already cleaned the room, and it was gone. I checked with staff and searched all my belongings multiple times, but it was never recovered. In less than 10 minutes, it completely disappeared. What made it worse was that I didn’t feel taken seriously and was made to feel as though I was mistaken, which was both frustrating and concerning.

Beds were sunken in & yellow. Smelled moldy in the room, probably because no sunlight ever hits it. Room felt kinda gross. For some reason they had music blasting into the night, despite the fact that ppl are there to see Machu Picchu & need to get up early or are coming from a multi day trek & need some rest. Wouldn't stay here again

Room: It was clean and comfortable. I’m 5ft and it was more than spacious for me ! The locker is right near you so need to worry about having a locker imo. The bathroom was also clean and accommodating. Staff: The staff was amazing ! All four of them. Both receptionist were very helpful during my stay. The girl was able to get me a knife to cut a maracuya open and some salt as well, I am very appreciative of it lol. They’re all very friendly and comfortable to talk if you need anything or just want to hang around. The three guys specifically are very funny and make the stay a 10/10 experience for sure ! Food: The breakfast was very yummy, the drinks as well. I would recommend to have a sandwich for breakfast, I loved it before my trip to Machupichu.

Property was solid. Room was solid. The only thing is that the windows aren’t that insulated so you will hear outside if it’s loud. A lot of people traveling stay at this property, so it’s easy to find people to socialize with.

We liked our stay. The bed was great. Cozy and comfortable. Loved the decor and we appreciated the nice hot shower after a long day out. The breakfast was nice (I would only recommend to offer some milk to go with the coffee). The staff was attentive and friendly. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we are ever visiting in the area again. Thanks so much!

If you want to stay at the loudest hostel in South America this is where you go. The bar upstairs was so loud packed with obnoxious locals and employees every night. The staff were friendly but there was always 8 staff members there at all times yelling talking at all hours of the day and night and wrestling in the lobby. 7 am the maid was Blair oh music right next to the dorms singing. Bathroom were unpleasant and garbages filled with poopy toilet paper overflowing. Room was musty and damp. Would not reccomend

It's more of a brothel than a Hostel. Smell of toilets is overwhelming, beds are not comfortable at all. I think the management should do better.

We booked with this hotel mainly as an overnight stay before our early Machu Picchu day. 1. It was so loud at night until 2am with people playing volleyball right outside our window and partying, etc. We couldn't sleep! 2. We had to check out at 6:15 a.m. to start our hike at Machu Picchu. Well the front desk was closed. The guy promised us the night before he would leave fruits for us for breakfast because we're leaving early (their breakfast starts at 7am) and it wasn't even open lol. We called the WhatsApp number on the door, no answer. We aren't mad about not keeping the promise of early breakfast. We are mad that front desk was closed with no response to calls so we had to leave our stuff to a random coffee shop before our big hike. They wasted our time & caused great distress before our Machu Picchu day. 3. the place is filthy. The towels and the sheets were stained from end to end without smelling nice. We ended up drying ourselves with our clothes. 4. They added 5% to our booking for using a credit card. They inform you that when you check in, but hotels.com doesn't mention that the booking is a cash price so I was annoyed.

Very vibrant and clean space, and the staff were great. Gino and Angie made me feel so comfortable and at home and helped me with any questions I had. The food was also wonderful.

Staying at Supertramp was a great experience. The Hostel was clean and the staff was very accommodating. I had an early morning trek to Machu Picchu and they made sure to make me a brown bag lunch I could bring with me. The kitchen staff take time and care to make tasty meals for a really affordable price. This was a great place to meet people. There is a bar on the top floor where I had a fun time with the staff and guests. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Matteo was amazing. I have worked in hospitality for 10+ years and he absolutely went above and beyond to help me out with a couple of issues that were truthfully beyond their control. All of the staff were wonderful and also genuine about their interactions. Tourist town or not, I would go back just because they were all so lovely.

This hostel was pretty good. The only thing that annoyed me was that the receptionist told us that for hiring towels we just had to put 10 soles down as ‘a guarantee’. the next morning when we went to get our money back he said no, and that it actually cost 10 soles to hire the towels and we couldn’t have the money back. Not much money but still annoying.

Great stay. Very well-designed and spacious bunkbed rooms. There's enough space on the top bunk to keep a lot of things up there while you sleep, plus a light/shelf/curtain. Very quiet (maybe my luck but the room seems designed that way). Not a fan of ensuite bathrooms personally, but it was good. Fine water temp. Really nice & capable staff.

The hostel was cool and the staff are very friendly and super helpful. Perfect for one night stay. The only challenge was that the noise from upper floors (and the rooftop bar) could be heard till 3 am, especially since I had the upper bunk, so it comes through the ceiling. Too loud, especially when you have to wake up at 4:30 am for the first buses to Machu Picchu
