My room didn’t have a fridge. I had to throw away 50$ worth of food. Also a man from bc truck was stolen out of the parking lot while I was there…they rent out the pool everyday afternoon to late evening for children’s swimming lesson but don’t mention that anywhere so basically you can only use the pool half the time and it’s full of kids pee. homeless drug addicts everywhere and a pet friendly hotel that charges a 25$ pet fee per day but has staff that are afraid of dogs so they don’t actually clean your room… why charge the fee? I brought all this up to a manger named Christine and she told me upon check out that they would give me a 15% discount until I pulled a camera out and started recording .. I than got 100% of my money back. Don’t recommend staying there

The hotel is in desperate need of a revamp. It has great bones, staff is very friendly and competent, the place is very clean, but most of the rooms seem to come with the old smoker remaining smells of the past. For the amenities, the pool is a great feature, but that is unfortunately the only feature accessible. No active restaurant, bar, or anything else. It seems to be in a transition towards something better to come. That being said, it was a great place to spend the week for our company and everyone slept well. Noise level was very low (inexistant, rooms are well soundproofed.

The bed is so uncomfortable, Lenin are hard, they laterally scratch my skin The shower hear is so old it's doesn't deliver the water properly (I mean shower head is $15) I was there for 6 days and after 3 days I had to ask for service, they never ask me if I want something like towels or change garbage When I arrived there was no coffee or cups The person who gave me the key when I arrived didn't even explain how to get to my room, it's not easy to understand the layout of the building. It was horrible experience

Room smelling cirgarratte smoke made me sick will allergies

There was hair in the bathroom when I arrived. The sink faucet leaked unless in a specific position not only shut off but turned to the side. The bath faucet started leaking, too, after my last shower. The sheets had a stain and a couple small tears. The room air was dusty. The replacement bathmat towel was unraveling. The bed is extremely old and had a spring that dug into me if I made the mistake of sleeping on that side of the bed. The blackout curtains were dirty and had holes, and the curtain rods didn't connect to them. The AC unit was a window unit that couldn't be adjusted if you were too old, and it left a curtain gap that meant someone potentially could have looked in and caught you changing if you changed in the room proper rather than the bathroom. None of these were the worst part. I discovered there was a water stain that might include mold on the morning of my last day. Then, when I left early in the morning to check out avoid more exposure, there was a divot in the stairs that meant I fell with all of my luggage on the last day. FYI that you must take stairs to access the rooms. The only good thing was the night auditor who found me at the bottom of the stairs did help me up and help get my luggage into the rideshare. For the price I paid, I expected at least a clean room. I got a terrible room and a terrible experience. I cannot advise highly enough to pay a little more if you can and stay downtown instead.

Not a great neighborhood, there was some really sketchy people inside and outside the hotel. I was scared to go outside in the evening. Staff were really nice and the rooms were as clean as they could be

The room was very spacious and clean. The light rail train station is a very short walk away from the hotel which was very convenient and inexpensive. The light rail offered a connection to the downtown area where I needed to be. One downside: breakfast was not available at the hotel during my stay (June 2026) as the dining room was being renovated.

I have a nice experience. The hotel is close to downtown, and I was able to take the train behind the it to go there. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff was friendly. Besides, I enjoyed the swimming pool since the water was warm.

When I got there, the check in was smooth. The staff person was friendly. The extent of my positive experiences ended there. The entire hotel smelled like an over chlorinated pool, causing a sore throat. My room smelled of cigarettes, despite asking for a non-smoking room. There was a stain and clump of hair on the comforter of the bed. As I left one of the exits, there were two people smoking drugs right beside the door. This is one of the first hotels I’ve promptly left after checking in and seeing the room. I am currently trying to get a refund, but I would avoid this hotel if given the chance. The low price was not justifiable.

Headed out to get breakfast in town because it was not offered at the hotel, and there were people in the parking smoking drugs in a pipe, at 7am. Packed up my wife and 19 month old daughter and we were gone by 11. The hotel staff didn’t seem to care and was happy to tell me I wouldn’t receive a refund for the following night, which was well worth it to get my daughter out of that environment. I will NEVER stay anywhere with that hotel chain again. Also, the bath mat was dirty, had to ask twice for a clean one. The bathtub was stained and rusted, and the air conditioner was a mobile one with the hose duct taped to the open window, leaving easy access for the crack heads in the parking lot to gain entry. Couldn’t leave fast enough!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but rather shabby. Bathtub needs to be replaced. Toilet moves when you sit on it. Burnt out lightbulb in one of the lamps.

Always clean, friendly staff and easy parking. Only wish it had a restaurant.

The staff was all very nice but the property itself was very old and had not been very well maintained for quite some time. The facility itself, inside and out needs a complete renovation. Tub didn't drain properly and looked like it had been scratched up very badly and was peeling. Door handles were falling off, smelled like smoke and marijuana in the halls, Everything in the gym was broken and dirty. there were long hairs in my bed. There were homeless people and drug addicts in the parking lot hanging out. felt very uncomfortable leaving my vehicle outside. People were smoking outside the front door and leaving lit half smoked cigarettes in the front entrance.

Was a great stay

The tap in the sink fell off. The furniture was shabby. The curtains had holes so you could see the sun coming through in the morning. Definitely needs an update. Bathroom was so small.

More the price than anything else. Just to be a holiday Inn and well kept. Not so much now.

Good place to stay

Our room was clean. The a/c wasn't working but the staff brought a portable unit very promptly!
