Cute little hotel about 10 minute walk from Atocha train station.

This hotel looks very new, great location near Atocha train station. Not far from El Retiro nor Madrid’s old district and the Prado Museum. Room was small, but for 2 people, it was adequate. WIFI worked very well. The hotel was built with great attention to detail, nice looking floors, different wall finishes, nice bathroom w a walk in shower, a towel electric drying rack, AC was perfect! Breakfast had many food options, reasonable price (€11). The only I’d recommend the hotel is to add some English speaking channels, like CNN, BBC International , as my wife is not from Spain

Very nice hotel conveniently located near Atocha station.

The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants. The room was tidy and fresh, and the staff are polite and offer a warm smile.

Receptionist, Carmen was amazing, above and beyond helpful. This should have all been perfect scores. The hotel location is perfect for the station and near an artsy neighbourhood, which we really enjoyed. As a vegan, there are several excellent vegan restaurants and cafes offering vegan options nearby. The hotel offered vegan options for breakfast. Lovely quiet, safe feeling location, residential, immediately next to the hotel but no train noise. Rooms were large, well appointed, spotlessly clean, amazingly comfortable beds, great aircon, but we didn’t use this, because the area was quite enough to have windows open. Only downside was the state of the place at breakfast, the young man doing breakfast service was hopeless and completely disinterested. He moved like a snail, didn’t clear tables, some guests arrived and he simply watched them, as they needed to sit at dirty tables, I mean, piled with other peoples dirty plates etc, because he wasn’t clearing them as people left and the area is very small, it needs to be cleared away when people leave. The receptionist came and started restocking the buffet, because he seemed oblivious to the many empty containers. He was painful to watch and he needs either intensive training, a sense of pride in his job, or a new one.

The hotel was spotless, rooms comfortable, staff extremely helpful and breakfast just right to get us on our way. The neighbourhood was quiet with lots of places to eat and drink and the hotel was located near the train and metro stations. Highly recommended.

Room was so comfortable and clean. Hotel is located on a peaceful street only 10 min walk from Atocha train station. Close to many restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast was normal. Place was clean. Convenient location for trains

Stayed just for one night. Only a few minutes walk from Atocha Train Station, suited for my overnight stay, having an early train ride the following day. Hotel property is clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. Had breakfast before I left , for £12 , for me a good value for a breakfast buffet. You can walk from here going to Retiro Park to pass the time before being able to check -in a three. And also going to Madrid Centro is fast by taking Metro 3 , will only take about five minutes. Overall my experience was pretty good.

The hotel is very clean but the breakfast is served at 7:00 am so if you are traveling early in the morning you will miss the breakfast also the AC in my room didn’t work the first 2 nights. Overall it’s a nice location near the train station and it is very clean.

Great location close enough to Atocha station, but far enough from the noise of the traffic around the station. And it was close to restaurants. The hotel room was small, but modern and clean.

Soy miembro de expedía por más de 15 años . He utilizado siempre sus reservas y puedo sugerirles consideren mi opinión como viajero regular.Dos noches de estadía fueron suficientes para llevarme la mejor impresión del hotel PAX Atocha .Sus cuartos están limpios , en buenas condiciones y en una lugar que sin ser el centro de Madrid te llevan a una localización bien cómoda para conectarte a la parte histórica . A pocos minutos tienes zonas importantes como Barrio de las Letras o el Museo del Prado . Y sobre todo la terminal Atocha por si deseas excursiones a sitios como Toledo . El personal es muy amable sobre todo el Front desk dispuestos siempre a ayudarte en lo que gustes . Merecido destaque para : Nuria, Patricia, Javier, Carmen y Silvia ! El desayuno no lo valore pues no utilize ese servicio en el lugar que también tiene cercano opciones a destacar . Mi más alta recomendación para este hospedaje .

Good stay for a night or two. Cute hotel

Lovely hotel and great staff managing an a/c issue imposed by their management (Im guessing). Despite the extremely warm conditions the a/c would not be turned on making the rooms like a furnace! The solution was to open the windows meaning curtains had to be left open but worse the noise from outside from motor bikes and rubbish/glass collections meant sleep was impossible. I can’t recommend a property where sleep cannot be attained. I experienced 2 days of exhaustion! Such a shame as the hotel is lovely and the staff professional but solutions inappropriate…

Good cost benefit relation and well placed close to atocha

Razón calidad-precio no encontrarán nada mejor en el área. Limpio, confortable, céntrico, personal amable, cama muy cómoda y mucha agua caliente. Definitivamente volveré!!
