Good place

The best and worst thing about this hotel was the location. Great to be within walking distance of everything, but if you stay on Friday or Sat nights, you will not be able to sleep. The Plaza de Sol has people partying until 6am. It's insane. So loud. SO LOUD. Also, especially for women travelers, there is NO interior lock on your room door, meaning anyone can walk into your room. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere in the world where there wasn't an interior lock. And sure enough, reception made a mistake and gave someone our room and right in they marched while we were sleeping! Mistakes happen, I get it, but that's exactly why you provide an interior lock. I cannot recommend this place due to safety and noise concerns

Right in the centre of Madrid near the Metro station, this was perfect for what we wanted.

Employees were great,helpful and kind, stayed two nights and regreted,the location is great in the heart of Madrid,however,no way that you can sleep 24/7, SOL is very popular stop,crowd there at all time,the room was very clean and almost brandnew.

What a fabulous hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly. It’s perfectly situated for getting around Madrid - a stones throw from the underground. Set on a lovely square with plenty shops and eateries on the doorstep. Safe, clean and beautifully furnished. I stayed here with my 13 year old daughter and felt well looked after and safe. Highly recommended.

Convenient location for a decent price!

Great location, you’re next to everything you would want to see and it’s all walkable. Lots of great restaurants, including the oldest restaurant in the world is about a 10 minute walk. The rooms are small, but very clean. My favorite part was the shower.

Fantastic location in centre of Madrid, easy access to anywhere by foot or metro. Modern interior and little disturbance.

Spectacular stay at Luthia. Beautiful property, and very central, recommend 100% and can't wait to go back.

Clean and newly redone however the bathroom appears to be designed to provide the least possible privacy when using the toilet. Not only are two walls glass but only one is covered by a thin see-through curtain. The other is just open to the room.

Brand new, I believe. Location is fantastic and surprisingly quiet for the Puerto Sol! No real amenities, but I am assuming that will change once more functionality is accomplished. The few staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was big and clean. The bathroom however is all glass and can make for a bit of uncomfortableness at times. The curtain covering the side is slightly transparent.

I absolutely LOVED my stay at this hotel. It was located right in the center of the plaza. It is steps away from the metro station. The hotel is very modern and very clean. Alexi at the front desk was very friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. He allowed us to leave our luggage as we arrived early. There is a lounge on the 4th floor where you can wait (if needed). I would stay there again without hesitation.

I loved the hotel. It has an excellent location,everything is nearby, with many shops, restaurants, and plenty of options. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Madrid.

The staff was so helpful, friendly and informative. The man, Alex, and the lady that checked us in were so welcoming. The rooms were clean and best of all it is in an excellent location. We couldn't believe how wonderful this location was.

Great stay in the heart of Madrid! Everything you need is within walking distance. The staff were amazing—especially Alexsis, who made traveling with a toddler so easy. We really appreciated the early check-in and crib already set up. Highly recommend!
