This is a new, clean hotel, with very friendly staff, both at the counter and in the restaurant. One suggestion is to install a handheld shower in the bathroom, rather than the current overhead showerhead, which leaves the floor wet all the way out to the bathroom. I would stay here again if I were in Medan again.

When I was there, there was a power outage across Medan. But the hotel didn't have a generator, so the lights had to be turned off, and the room was hot. The lights only stayed on for a few hours. And the lights went out during breakfast, too.

Clean new hotel close to town

1. The breakfast was aromatic, and the chicken noodles were a combination of Chinese and Indonesian flavors. 2. The chef was kind when my son asked for sunny side up, which wasn't available. He served it freshly cooked and perfectly flavored.

No one helped customers get to their rooms, even though they were having a hard time. The front lobby was very high, making it difficult to carry suitcases.
