Perfection

Very peaceful place to stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable. Conveniently close to the main road but still quiet. Fairly flat walk into Hereford along the river (4-5 miles). We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

We weren't expecting Porters Lodge to be in the Chapterhouse of Belmont Abbey! A pleasant surprise. Nice, quiet location a few minutes drive from Hereford centre. The room and ensuite were clean and bright. Comfortable large single beds with nice quality bedding. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area

Very clean, calm room. Perfect for our overnight stay.

Iit would have been helpful to know how often the bells are rung especially in the evenings, although 10pm seemed to be the last ones on Friday night. I didn't know what breakfast I could have or what time I could go down or how it worked. There was a lot of banging in the evening and from about 10pm for several hours into the night, there were people shouting in the grounds.

Great location, quiet and peaceful

Really surprised with it’s location the Abbey itself is stunning and we loved the bells peeling, the rooms were a brilliant base to start a visit to the area, the reception staff gave a warm welcome and could not have done more, yes there are no facilities like a bar restaurant but a kitchenette with fridge toaster etc table and chairs so we picked up some bits so no problem to us. We will be there again.

We had a late check in (out of staffed hours) and it could not have been easier. We made contact to make sure it was ok, on arrival we got access and our room key with no fuss. Located the room and it was all very fresh feeling and lovely. It being one of the hottest nights of the year and there no built in aircon (welcome to England), but the fan kept us cool and the whole set up was really good. Check out was very simple too.

We stayed at Porters Lodge at Belmont Abbey in Hereford for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The surroundings were peaceful, and the overall atmosphere made for a relaxing visit. The only improvement we would suggest is providing a hairdryer in the room, as this would make the accommodation even more convenient for guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Porters Lodge to others.
