Cable TV does not work! Our room has a good view but I had to go 5 stories up with our luggage and I wished someone assisted us. They also try to charge you for everything! Plus the rack rate is so much lower compared to "discounted" price.

Most staff friendly, accommodation cozy yet very basic. Several power outages, diesel generator kicked in pretty swiftly each time. Common seating area strewn with toilet rolls most days, pool cramped and zero privacy. Restaurant nice ambiance, food in restaurant underwhelming. Beach in front of the resort under construction (sewage/drainage pipes).

We had a pleasant weekend stay here. You have the whole apartment to use and it's accessible to White Beach and stores if you need to buy anything. The property owners were also very accommodating. They even helped us get ferry boat tickets going home from their affiliated shipping lines because most of them are sold out/cancelled due to upcoming typhoon. Otherwise, we'll get stranded. I would highly recommend this place to all first timers in Puerto Galera like us. Thank you Tribal Hills Cafe/Budget Rooms! 🙏

We had our room upgraded from fan room to aircon which is located to the beachfront for a reasonable price. The owner and staff are accommodating and very attentive to our needs. Place is accessible too, near to convenience stores, budget meal place (try manolo's lodge and restaurant for an affordable but delicious food), tricycle terminal. We had a super great stay!

Shower doesn't work and walls were thin so noisy guests next door can be a problem. Pretty close to bars though

How many Villa are listed in Puerto Galera?

Currently, there are around 5 Villa that you can book in Puerto Galera

Located in Oriental Mindoro, Puerto Galera boasts what was once dubbed “one of the most beautiful bays in the world”. But before birthing its Boracay-level party scene, it already welcomed travelers from all over the world. Back in the 1500s its port was one of the busiest. Today, people make the trip to witness amazing beaches and underwater terrain that’s bursting with life.

On your trip to the island you’ll meet wonderful locals and travelers from far flung countries who decided to call it home for reasons you’ll find out for yourself. Often listed as one of the top diving sites in the country, Puerto Galera is quite literally far more than what it offers on the surface. But diver or not, your first trip to the island most definitely won’t be your last.

Why book a Puerto Galera Villa?

Any beach trip is not complete with the whole gang, which means you need as much space as you can get. While booking different rooms is always an option, it’s no fun having to stay in separate places. That’s why Puerto Galera villas are always the better option. By booking a villa you can fit the entire group without feeling cramped. Just as much as you’ll have common areas for hanging out and lounging around, villas are also designed to have enough private space where you can relax. Standard villas would typically come with separate living areas, multiple bedrooms, and a kitchen where you have the option to prepare your own meals.

Types of Villas

Since Puerto Galera has always been one of the top beaches to visit near Metro Manila. Many resorts and hotels offer all kinds of villas and accommodation types. Here are some of the villas available:

  • Beachfront Villa - One of the most popular options in Puerto Galera are the beachfront villas. One of the best parts about being on an island is its views, and having one from your own private villa is quite a luxury. Beachfront villas also allow you to be steps away from the water.
  • Family Villa - Family villas are also among the top choices because of the space they offer. Booking a family villa is a convenient option for big groups as they don’t have to split up and book different rooms. The villa will also come with a large living space where everyone can gather, and a kitchen and dining area in case guests want to prepare their own meals.

  • Destination Attractions & Activities

Nearby you can find Verde Passage, which was declared a center for marine biodiversity. If you are not ready to get licensed, simply swimming around with a pair of snorkels is enough.
  • Party the night away - Puerto Galera’s White Beach is arguably as rowdy as its Boracay namesake. Dotted with bars, restaurants, and live bands every single day of the week, this stretch of sand is guaranteed to keep you entertained during your stay.
  • Join an island-hopping tour - Island hopping tours will usually take you to popular spots like Maniknik Beach and Bayanan Beach. Aside from actual islands, these tours will also offer trips to sites like Coral Garden and the Giant Clams site where you can go snorkeling.

  • How to get around
