Best time to fly from Bacolod to Shanghai

Bacolod-Silay Airport (BCD) – The Bacolod-Silay Airport is located in Silay City, 15 kilometres from Bacolod City and services the general area of Metro Bacolod. There are various ways to get to Bacolod city from the airport. The airport consists of a three-level terminal which has check-in counters, public concourse, arrival area and information centre on the first floor. The pre-departure areas, including the VIP and CIP lounges are located on the second floor. The second floor is also where the Merci Pasalubong Shop and Bong-Bong's Pasalubong shops are. The third floor is where the viewing deck and the concession area are located. Amongst the most common method of transportation to Bacolod city is by a van which costs approximately 150 PHP per person, taking you to SM in Bacolod city. If you have luggage and have a travelling company, taking a taxi or a Grab would be a better option. Taking a Grab will cost around 350-500 PHP while a taxi will be around 450 PHP.

Shanghai Pudong Airport(PVG) – The Shanghai Pudong Airport is located 30km east of Shanghai City Centre and serves the city of Shanghai. The airport is equipped with eateries shops, banks, currency exchange shops, vending machines, power chargers, photo kiosks and many other facilities. The three major transportation options to the Shanghai Pudong Airport is via Metro, bus and taxi.

Shanghai experiences a mild, warm and temperate climate compared to Bacolod which experiences a tropical climate with warm and sunny days all year round. The average temperature in Shanghai is only 16 degrees Celsius compared to Bacolod, which has an average temperature of 27.1 degrees Celsius. • The Bund – The Bund is a riverside walkway which is lined by old European buildings from Shanghai’s colonial days and also the skyscrapers that are now the image of modern Shanghai. The best time to visit the Bund is during sunrise where you will be able to see pensioners out practising tai chi and flying kites in front of the skyline. The Bund is also a beautiful place for a stroll in the evening.
• Qibao – Shanghai is surrounded by eight ancient water towns which have to be visited at least once in a lifetime. Visiting them all may be a tiring journey, but if you had to choose one, Qibao should be the go-to water town. Located close to the city limits, Qibao is well known for its scrumptious street food and beautiful water canals. Visiting the town during the weekdays would be the best time as it does get crowded on weekends.
• M50 – If you are travelling for the Instagram pictures, M50 or short for Moganshan 50 is an ultra-hip contemporary art district that houses the cities best art galleries and museums. M50 is often compared to Beijing’s 798 Art District or New York’s SoHo. The graffiti in M50 will surely be a cool spot for the OOTD pics to post up on your social media.
