This hotel is well recommended, I love the view from my bed, especially at night. The service is very good. Near from CBD, good ambiance, good facilities, the room and hotel are very clean.

Like the other says, it was a compact but comfortable room hotel. Perfect location as it is close to almost everything in central, you can get to most places in free trams, several good cafes and restaurants just around the corner. Almost perfect, however disappointing customer service. Guess it depends on individual, but 1 or 2 particular permanent front desk showed unwillingness to help, overall still good, just need to improve front desk service. It also would be great if the amenities added in microwave oven/shared kitchen for use of guests, hand towel, room slippers.

The hotel is so clean and convenient for tourist to reach any place around melbourne CBD such as: China Town, Queen Victoria market, shopping Halls, Woolworth. Surely I will choose this hotel if I visit Australia again. My daughter also likes it.

Very good spot to stay for solo travellers. Extremely easy check in on the kiosk and rooms were def clean and nice with daily cleaning! Convenient location for getting everywhere you want. And outside is the best coffee shop I’ve ever been to. YOU MUST TRY the peanut cream latte from Overlay!!!!!

Clean, spacious, room, with a very comfortable bed, though we didn’t have towels on our last night/morning. That’s our only criticism. We didn’t have the hotel breakfast as there is a more than adequate cafe next door, which is more reasonably priced. Walkable to major attractions, restaurants and bars. Would definitely use again.

There was a discrepancy with my bill, identified at check out, but not resolved. I followed up with an email, but there has been no response. This is unsatisfactory, and if I do not get a response soon I will take the matter to Consumer Affairs.

Room was spotless and the staff courteous and helpful. The location in the heart of the CBD was excellent. Room was quite small but the facilities were modern and good use was made of the space available. There is a good restaurant and small cafe at the hotel and the gym is very good. This was fantastic value for money and I can recommend it one hundred percent.

We had a booking error due to a misunderstanding with the time change, and the hotel would not work with us. We had to pay the first night that we weren’t even there. They’re not remotely flexible or understanding. I would not stay there again and we travel quite a bit. We’re very honest people and understanding of policy but this was pretty crappy. We are fully aware that they could have worked with us. They chose not to. They chose profit. I never leave bad reviews. In this case I felt I needed to. We 100% do not recommend this place.

Smooth booking through Wotif. Easy check in. Comfortable beds. Quiet room. We were able to leave our luggage at hotel, upon check out, while we spent the day in the city (service was available till 10pm). Check out no issues. Helpful staff. Was quite convenient to have a cafe downstairs in the lobby area, where we had our breakfast. Convenient location. Close to Melbourne Central station Overall great experience
