Mantra Hervey Bay

Excellent view, no breakfast lunch or dinner options as everything in the precint closed for 2 days over the christmas break, nothing within walking distance ( Dissapointing ).Could not get internet to work in room in spite of many attempts and calling reception..

Clean room Friendly Staff

Short one night stay, gap stopover. Funny part- the lift wasn't working, God knows for how long, so we had to lug our luggage on the stair case to 4th floor. That's not one pays to find an account in a 4 or 5 star rated hotel.Disappointing.

Good location and rooms are ok (average). Poor internet connection unfortunately

Great views from bedroom on 5th floor. But lift wasn’t working and maintenance team were a little inconvenient.

Basic clean, nice location. Comfortable bed. A few items in disrepair or dated. The one elevator did not work a fan was difficult to get working and one door handle broken.The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The Staff were more than helpful, no complaints at all. The room was a different matter. *The cupboard handles BOTH came off in your hand when opening the doors. * There was an Ant problem, to the extent that they were in the bed. * Although the result of a storm, there was no hot water. This was later fixed. All in all, an uncomfortable stay.

Great apartment for two people, everything you could need. Bathroom/laundry very cramped and shower over bath has safety issues when entering and exiting. View over marina was a huge plus.

Lovely view and nice bathroom, bed was comfortable however the noise factor in the surrounding restaurants and cafes was not pleasant later in the evening . Fan in the room had a mind of its own . Had ant problems .

Room was fine just disappointed that they hold $200 on your credit card and tell you they will release it back to you within 48 hours we are now at day 8 since we checked out still nothing credited back

This property and the rooms are looking very tired. The room was clean, quiet and safe location.

On arrival we were given a room situated between a ground floor management unit complete with a bird in a cage (my friend who was with me is asthmatic so this was not ideal) and permanent rental on other side. On the outside deck there was a random broom head on the lawn and view of a brick wall. When we questioned wifi use of tv with reception we were told to use our own data as wifi not ideal in that part of resort. The real kicker tho was the fact that an employee of mine knows the manager and we were given a bottle of wine and chocolate to enjoy the dungeon room. Very sad as many rooms with a view were available but we’re not offered to us ….we would have happily paid extra. Customer service non existent when we mentioned at checkout so unfortunately will never return (we are already planning a return trip to the area) and has tarnished the Mantra reputation for us.
