Mantra Hervey Bay

Nice outlook, room was good size. Took points off for ants in the kitchen and light/fan in bedroom not working.

The rooms are very tired (at the the 1 bedroom marina facing apartment I stayed in) and does need an upgrade and they were very noisy I. The morning. The pool was lovely. Wouldn’t really call it a gym… more like a closet with a walking machine . But with that said was in a great location and was good for the cost

Wonderful spacious clean room. Great service from staff and a lovely pool with heated water, spa and normal cool water areas.

Pool closed. Zero WiFi in our room. Room has not been updated in decades.

Except for the lift not working for our entire stay, we were there for 3 nights and our room was on 3rd floor, stairs open to weather and it was inclement weather. Lift not expected to be working for several weeks. Staff were friendly and courteous, room was very presentable on arrival ! Pool area could be accessed by walking right around the building as access to the pool of the reception area was unavailable .

the first problem was the door key cards were programed for the wrong room, then the room had a shower over bath(which was not requested), my wife is 75years old with walking difficulties and recently had a back op. We requested another room but they said none was available. They sent up a small stool saying it could be used to get into the shower spa bath which was 600mm high, we would not use it as it would be dangerous and leave them liable. The pool gate was locked because it had a broken latch(they are available from their local Bunnings store, the grounds are in need of maintenance.

Staff were great and location views fantastic but we had a top floor units that would be great in winter but as the ceiling is concrete to the outside roof area the rooms never cool.down and needs full aircon. Living area did but could not sleep in the bedrooms as the rooms only had fans and it was still 28c at 2 in the morning.

Elevator was not functional and the pool not available. Good location where we were on that day.

The rooms were clean, the balcony view of the marina was beautiful. Unfortunately we were there during renovations so getting to the pool was a bit tricky and the lifts were out of order but the staff were on hand to help with luggage if needed.

Apparently 1 chair for 2 people is enough, electronic door key failure, no lift ,no kitchenette, i think i didn't get the room i was expecting....won't be back

Courteous staff

Lifts broken pool entrance door broken and padlock up internal door to walk up stairs were so heavy room was tiny for what you pay it’s very crapy

Staff were courteous but room is looking old with no modern items such as usb ports. Resort needs an update

Room was very tired and maintenance work was ongoing in hotel which we were not aware of before stay. This impacted lift service and use of the pool. View of marina from room was only thing as expected.
