The room was lovely and the mattress on the bed was amazing. We both slept really well. The buffet was new and we were ok with that, but on both mornings, we got there at 9am and had to wait on eggs and bacon, as bay was empty. Think they were still getting used to this service. They did do coffee orders which was awesome. I was surprised that whilst everything on the inside was great, the outside area, especially opposite the dinning and bar area looked a little unkept and under watered. To match the inside, I would suggest a bit more attention required on sweeping/hosing off porch area, removing cobwebs and mulching garden beds. It wasn't terrible, but bit of a lost opportunity to wow. Other than those minor points, we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were excellent. Location to all the attractions was also very good. It was quite and safe.

There was no bath in our room as shown in my booking and no pool or spa as advertised on website, and there hasn’t been a pool or spa for seven years. This is false advertising to lure people in . 😡

The complex is nice, clean and comfortable and the complimentary wine and nibbles were a nice touch. The reason for our 3 star review is the adjoining door between rooms, which was paper thin, not a solid wood door as it should be, and it was installed poorly, with a large gap underneath - around 3cm or so. Consequently, we could hear every word of the conversations of the people next door. And light from their room would shine into ours under the door, until we put a towel down to block the light. Anyhow, they were our only criticisms.

Nice little apartment, with all the facilities we needed. Pet friendly too, although rather pricey addition. Reception was not open, but had phone support. Air con was noisy. Room clean and well-maintained. Would stay again

Very poor communications. We received an email to advise reception closed at 4pm on a Sunday. We arrived prior to find it unattended, with a an after hours number to call. The number went un-answered for a long time (with frequent msg's apologising due to the high number of calls)...yeah right.... a Sunday afternoon in Tanunda could not be any more sleepy. Room was then navigated OK, but was told everything else in the hotel on Sunday was not open.. bar, restaurant etc.. (make that Monday as well) The hotel itself seemed great, and would definitely visit again, but next time later in the week.

Staff were friendly and helpful, bar was great for happy hour drinks. The room had everything we needed bonus points for the complimentary snacks and wine. The shampoo and conditioner in the rooms is amazing too!
