It’s always good to stayed at this hotel. Already 3 time stay in here, the room more modern and renovated now. The location is center the city, just walking a minute already arrived to the city center.

From the moment you drive in the easy parking to the Staff who welcome you then up to your room which is inviting and clean with a beautiful comfortable bed fantastic shower down to the wonderful dinner and drinks and breakfast at the Goldfinch. The only thing we missed unfortunately was the rooftop bar which was booked out for a party but a fantastic stay overall will be back.

This hotel was clean and nice, but trying too hard to be a nightlife spot. No laundry facilities on site. They recommended we lug our laundry to their other hotel across town. They should focus on their EXCELLENT breakfast and meeting spaces, not the bar scene. The hotel seemed a little snooty, maybe too high end for us, even though the room was just average.

Terrible room condition - windows were so filthy we couldnt see out of them. The bathroom mirror was black and chipped and the shower needed replacing. The lift had no floors showing and the other lift had the electronic display half taped on. The valet parking guy gave me the wrong car keys to top it off. Dismal experience. A complete refurb is needed.

Bar fridge/room fridge no water jug for cold water, no mini bar (not that I wanted it) would’ve been nice and parking not including in the accommodations, that came as a shock, considering the cost. Breakfast buffet was nice, omelette station is the best.

Staff at check in were very helpful and friendly. A mistake with my booking but they sorted quickly. Room was tired, air con not great, USB chargers not working, lamp had a flickering globe ( reported to reception at checkout). Breakfast was OK, super busy and one coffee machine seemed a bit ridiculous for the number of patrons. Again, staff were helpful but couldn’t keep up with clearing tables and we cleared ourselves as we were a bit out of sight. Coffee machine right next to juice and tea station created a Bottleneck - bad design. KG bar not open on a Friday night, and no room at six antlers upstairs so nowhere to really have a drink except at a very lacklustre goldfinch which has limited atmosphere in the evening. Good location so easy to simply go out .

Room was dusty, found dust on nearly all surfaces, staff are super friendly, checking in was a slow process. For a two persons stay, didnt put out enough of the complimentary items. Over priced for a room like the one I stayed in. More of a nicer motel experience then a hotel. Staff service was exceptional! The person on the phone to me was extremely helpful. Would have given a rating of 2 out of 5 but the staff boost a star. Also the window was extremely dirty. Rooms arent really sound proof, you can hear other people's doors opening and closing, you can also hear other people through the walls. Felt like a hospital ward stay. Shower water isnt consistent, kept going cold and then hot. Shelf in shower is in the wrong spot, couldn't completely stand under it. Please clean the aircon vents they were also very dusty.

This seems more of a business trip hotel than holiday hotel. It is surrounded by offices, but only a short walk to shops and about a 20 minute walk to South Bank. The bed was comfortable, and there is plenty of storage, but that’s about it. The rooms seem in need of some upgrades in terms of electrics, as we did have to move rooms in the middle of the night due to all the power in our room going out—we were told the breaker had flipped but only had one cell phone in charging and the AC going. The staff were quick to try to fix it but we ended up moving to another room where a few of the outlets didn’t work. The rooms in general were clean, but just felt a bit dingy like they need some overdue upgrades.
