Awful experience, especially dealing with the staff at the office. Upon arrival we asked if it was possible to check out late because we were traveling with a baby and she usually needs to take a nap late in the morning. They said yes you can check out a 12am instead at 10am. So we says thank you, that was just an extra 2 hours but it was better than 10am. The following day when ready to check out, we had to deal with a different Lady. She said because we checked out at 12 they were going to charge us an extra 100$ we said no that had not been mentioned to us at all. The worse thing was that during that night, right in the middle of the night the emergency alarm starting to ring so loudly. It was saying, emergency, go out immediately. It was kept repeating that sentence and the alarm would not stop. So all of us, all the customers had to run outside in their pijamas, that was very disturbing especially for our baby, the alarm was so loud, poor thing she was so disoriented and exhausted. So all the customers, in the middle of the night, had to wait outside in their pijamas, it was raining like crazy that night. Eventually we were they told to go back in our room without any explanation. We later found out they just had an issue with their alarm system. We were exhausted, after that it was impossible for our baby to go back to sleep. Even when we mentioned that to the office lady she continued insisting we had to pay the extra 100$ that was so unkind and unreasonable

Rooms are clean, super soft beds, large bathroom. Good location and really liked the secure parking.

It’s the 2nd time we’ve stayed, staff were lovely, room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was fabulous.

We really enjoyed our stay here, staff were very friendly and most helpful, meals were good, everything was clean. The beach was only a short walk away. We would definitely go back and stay there again.

Hotel staff were superstars, friendly, knowledgeable and respectful on arrival and departure, room was amazingly clean including the bathrooms (i usually find mould and could in this establishment) with modern renovations. I wasn’t a fan of the wheels on the king moving when jolted. The hotel had and amazing variety on offer of the complementary drink on arrival and breakfast was delicious and had plenty to offer. Great old school hotel made modern and exciting. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Value for money

The rooms were clean and spacious and it was lovely to have a full bathroom. Staff were very pleasant and it was nice to have everything we needed close at hand. Breakfast was also a great way to start the day.
