Very nice hotel. The ambiance from the inside is excellent. You think you are in a small.castle. wood, lights and chimney everywhere. Rooms are nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast is fine, not too many choices but is above the average of what you will expect. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Just a walking distance from the grande place.

Great location and very elegant. Was central to shopping and the Christmas markets. Air conditioning did not work well enough to provide any air circulation. Only issue was that I had reserved a room with canal view and overlooked the street (I didn’t recall the reservation until after I checked out). I would stay there again.

Was really well located to enjoy the old centre and Christmas events. Walkable and enjoyed the area. The room was a bit dated, broken lights and pictures, dings on furniture but I'm sure it was nice when it was new. The lobby was really nice and welcoming. Really close to the train station for any days trips you might need. Good option for a central hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located. Staff was wonderful and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated for. Specifically in the bathroom it looked like things were covered up with some quick caulking. Should instead be properly stripped and cleaned.

Honestly I could not be more happier with the hotel. Check in was easy. Hotel staff courteous. Room was very good size for a European hotel! I was concerned about the room facing the concert hall but could not hear anything. Extemely close to Grand Palace. Hit the different Christmas markets there in Belgium, Bruege and visited Ghent. Central Station is a five minute walk. Breakfast was a buffet and great variety. Would not hesitate to return back to this hotel.

Pros: The location is convenient and the amenities are present as advertised (in room fridge, kettle, fitness center, room service etc). Cons: The furnishings and fixtures are quite old/worn in this hotel. The bed was extremely hard, and the faucet in our room leaked. The shower did not have a curtain, and the water made the entire bathroom floor wet. Noise from both the street and the hallway made it difficult to sleep. Would visit the city again, but not stay at this hotel.

Staff was excellent. Some of the room conditions were annoying. Particularly the USB ports were either not available or not working. Seems they were damaged and not enough of them. It’s a small thing but annoying.

Beautiful hotel and excellent location, especially if travelleing by train from Brussels airport. Literally a 1 min walk from the station exit! So close to the sqaure and buzzing atmosphere around the area! Lovely room and comfy bed. Would stay again! Thank you so much for a lovely trip for our first stay in Belgium!
