Caye Casa

We enjoyed our stay at Caye Casa, finding the location to be "just right" for us: on the beach and just outside of the hustle bustle of the center of town but not too far to walk to most sights/restaurants. Shane at the front desk was a God-send of a resource to help us change bookings and recommend places to eat, etc. The owner, Jake, was helpful too. The little dunking pool was incredibly refreshing after my massage (also recommended: Just Relax Massage right across from hotel) BUT the shower water pressure was terrible: they need to invest in a more powerful system. Once that's done, it'll be perfect. Please don't expect high-end luxury. (Not sure you'll find that anywhere in Belize) The suites are close enough to each other that you may end up hitting it off with your vacationing neighbors.

Caye Casa was the perfect location for my 5 day stay in San Pedro. All bars are within a 5 min walk. All local food options were the next street over. My room was clean and cool with ground floor access. The staff were perfect!!! I highly recommend staying here.

Great service

I’m already planning my next trip back to Caye Casa! I was skeptical about staying at a boutique hotel with my 7 and 4 yr old and not having the entertainment of a big pool, but they made friends with the local boy next door and had fun on the beach, dock and smaller pool. There was plenty to keep us entertained. The entire staff, especially Shane and Mario, were the friendliest, warmest people. They recommended some great local eats a 2 min walk away. Lagi next door took us out on his boat to snorkel. We rented a golf cart. They stay was everything and more. 10/10 recommend. So glad I chose this place over a resort.

Small, clean property in a perfect location for exploring San Pedro. Close to the sea.

My stay here was nothing short of amazing!! I started not to leave a review because I wanted to be selfish and keep it to myself Lol. But from the time of booking up until I left the owner and staff was awesome! On the first day of arrival there was an issue with our TV, we made the staff aware and the owner Jake came out and personally went out and purchased us a new one and replaced it himself. The staff assisted in everything from golf cart rental, laundry, to restaurant recommendations and reservations which were a huge help to for the more popular spots. The rooms themselves were very comfortable and relaxing and everything you could need. I will definitely be staying again, very soon! Huge shoutout to Shayne on the staff also, always available and willing to help with whatever needed.

What a wonderful time we had and it was so easy from start to finish Jake, Shane and the rest of the Caye Casa staff were beyond amazing such a cute little gem in an absolutely amazing location. We will definitely stay here again and again planning on coming back real soon.

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. The balcony in the hammock or a definite plus. The staff and employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Shane and the Caye Casa family was amazing. This was a solo trip to celebrate getting my masters and Mother’s Day. From booking until check out everything was flawless. Here’s the cliff notes of a wonderful stay. First the email before arrival please read it and follow it it made getting through the airport and to the hotel a breeze. Second I arrived early room was ready with AC blasting a just welcome cool to the heat of the island and a complimentary drink. Third front the booking email I asked a golf cart to be delivered to the hotel thought with my early arrival I’d have to wait but not Shane got the cart delivered early and I was off to explore. Room was very clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. I had a beachfront room and sitting out of the veranda or in the sitting area with the doors open having my breakfast was heavenly. Thank you again for making me feel at home. I can’t wait to return

The place is right in front the beach , very convenient as there is all kinds of restaurants to pick from on the same street, on the street behind . They will arrange and make accommodations for booking reservation, booking transportation, renting bikes and charts. It was very safe , I honestly had to issues and would recommend..I would definitely stay there Again .

Shane and Jake were absolutely fantastic in assisting with any questions and recommendations, they really went the extra mile in booking (or changing) last minute dinner reservations, fresh towels, and just helpful and friendly. While this is an ocean view property, just a note that it's not completely beach front in that you can walk out on the beach for use. There are 4 chairs on the property for guest use, but they are across the little road from the actual beach. The property was exactly as described, and the unit was clean and perfect for our family of 4. My only really unexpected was that there was a lot more foot traffic than expected as I didn't know there was a little road directly in front of the hotel, I knew we were staying in the island city center, but there were always a steady of people walking by at all times of day. If you are looking for a calm view of the beach that was a little bit unexpected. We felt completely safe just know it's a popular area sitting directly across from a popular restaurant/bar, if you enjoy live music you can hear it from the balcony. There are many streets vendors for some island food and snorkeling/dive shops directly outside of the hotel. I felt renting a golf cart for this area was mandatory to get around.
