Older motel with upgrades needed. Coffee machine had left over coffee in filter and old coffee in carafe. Bath caulking refresh needed.

Yes, the room was very clean and well maintained. David was extremely helpful....went over and above the expected. We had booked the 'fireplace' suite....didn't fire it up, but my wife absolutely loved it. Bed was super comfortable (I slept in until almost 8 both mornings.....something I never do. This is a family that has trully embraced the art and meaning of hospitality.....something that most places do not even comprehend these days.

Clean and comfy. Courteous service. Not new at all but nice. Good value. Convenient location with a little park across the road on the shoreline. Would stay again.

Clean room, easy parking, quiet, lovely view, offered to help with luggage, allowed early checkin. Just lovely overall.

Room amenities not exactly as noted on hotels.com but staff was accommodating to our needs and was friendly about it. Was a fantastic stay and was updated book again.

Obviously this is not a resort where you sit around by the pool but if you are arriving late off the ferry nothing beats this no nonsense hotel. Super clean and beds super comfortable. Small rooms but for the money it can not be beat. I have now made this my go to rest spot when I take the late ferry to the island and not wanting to drive into the night

Really spacious room with separate living area, bedroom, and kitchen. Staff quite friendly, enjoyable two-night stay. Room was a little dated, but still super comfortable. Walking distance (10min) to ferry terminal. I would definitely stay here again.

How is this place rated a 9.2? The pictures Expedia provides (I’m sure it’s fr the motel itself) do not reflect the condition of this motel. The corridor/balconies are filthy, there was an odour of stale moist air in the room, bathroom sink and tub drains do not drain properly. Went to front desk to inquire about the problem, apparently, he had to watch a video on how to rectify the issue. We cancelled the fix as it was already so late, and we were tired fr a day of driving. Kitchen floors & carpets were sticky. We found some mouse droppings on the floor….none of us slept a wink. I’m sure the staff are nice for the most part, but priority when looking for accommodations is cleanliness, and this was far from it. Super disappointed as we chose this place based on reviews and the pictures. If you’re in a pinch, sure, stay here, but be prepared for an uncomfortable experience.

Staff was great room was basic but clean and comfortable!

Stay in room 106 and around 12:30am-1am person started a bath and could hear the water pipes so loud it sounded like it was in my room. It woke me up and everytime they added more water to their bath it would wake me up again I did record the noise for staff to check into it because it was so loud.
