What Guests Say About Their Stay

Kim

Very nice clean safe place to stay. The bed was firm yet very comfortable for me but a little too firm for my son. Breakfast was a nice assortment but mostly carb heavy. They did have breakfast sandwich sandwiches with egg & bacon or egg & sausage which was good to have some protein with all those carbs. Check in & check out staff were excellent. There was plenty of parking but not much in the way of disabled parking for wheelchairs. There were disabled spots, but nowhere to put out a ramp. The only snafu that we had was the wheelchair. We requested a ground level floor with two beds. That meant we were in a room that wasn’t necessarily a Wheelchair room. The first room they put me in was very nice and spacious and would’ve been perfect except for the fact, there was a 8 inch steps to get up into the room. We were put in a different room that only had a 2 inch lip to get into which was doable for my chair, but the room was definitely smaller and tighter and so the wheelchair had to stay right at the entrance, which made it a little difficult. The only real Wheelchair room is a one bed and for some reason my adult son didn’t want to share a bed with me. Impressed the front desk staff took into consideration suggestions for making the hotel more accessible, including moving the tables so Wheelchair can get through the breakfast easier and investing in portable ramp so people can get in& out of rooms with a step. Hoping they follow through. Will stay there again.

The place is lovely and has a homely feel. Very comfortable and the staff were great and helpful. They even gave us a little gift for our anniversary too! Breakfast was great with plenty of options, 24 laundry, area is good and easy access to everywhere. The room was like a little home! Would recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Everything was lovely, great staff and good communication. Had to call front desk for internet password, and internet was a bit wonky. Suspect the phone was contaminated with dr***, shortly after calling I was overcome with a feeling of intoxication--could not stand up and dizzy. I woke up several hours later. I did not take any medication or consume anything willingly. It was a very strange experience but I feel ok now.

The rooms are good, the staff is wonderful. The coffee is the absolute worst coffee I’ve ever had in my entire life. lol Like seriously. It’s like they use the same grounds for days and days. It’s surprisingly bad. Otherwise, if you can get this place for less than $110 a night, it’s pretty good. The ambiance is spectacular.

I booked a stay for 2 queen beds on the 24th of December through hotels.com. By the time I arrived at the front desk I was greeted by the receptionists. One of them was named Priscilla. I checked in; while reviewing their details before checking me in, Priscilla and her coworker were whispering to each other about "a change" to my room assignment. Initially, I ignored this, not thinking too much of it. Soon enough, instead of talking to me regarding their private discussion, they just told me to head inside to our assigned room. Instead, this room had 1 bed, which was NOT the 2 Queen beds that I originally booked. My daughter and I already brought heavy luggage inside this incorrect room, and it was raining, too! I was so upset and returned to the front desk saying this was the wrong room, and Priscilla/her coworkers didn't even apologize for failing to double-check that my room was the correct one, after such inconveniences we experienced. They finally gave me the key to our correct room with no apology or any sort of remorse. This was very unprofessional, incompetent behaviour by reception/staff and we may not be staying here again!
