We were attending an event at the BMO Centre so wanted to stay close enough to take an Uber. For the $220/night, this hotel was overpriced. The shower was so clogged that I was standing in 2" of dirty water by the time I was finished. The sheets were not high quality, and rather scratchy. The pillows were old and uncomfortable. And although we kept turning the heat down to 18°, it would automatically go back up to 22°, which was extremely uncomfortable. The included breakfast was average. Valet parking was $40/night. For the extra costs, we will likely stay near the airport next time and pay the extra money for the longer Uber trips.

Having laundry for guest use was nice for a longer stay. The elevator is super slow. My biggest complaint is there is a lot of scented areas and it seems like febreeze or something is sprayed in the rooms. For someone with really bad scent allergies it was tough to stay there, had to go through a lot of allergy medication. Otherwise it was good and has a great room layout for older kids that don’t like to share beds, the sofa bed area was nice.

P-tac’s were very noisy to the point you could not call for heat and one had broken grilles. Staff offer to move me to another room but had the same issue in other room as time I stayed there. Next time I will stay down the the street at the Arts Hotel - they seem to keep things in better condition.

The staff was super welcoming, from the valet and check in staff to the staff members that were on duty during checkout. Room was super clean and looked after and the breakfast was amazing.
