I am so grateful for the experience that my husband and I had at the JPL. The hotel made me feel really special when I arrived by having a couple of chocolate dipped strawberries and prosecco on ice to celebrate the completion of my degree (and I that I haven't travelled anywhere in years). The room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the view was stunning. I had the waffle for breakfast one morning and the JPL pizza - very delicious food! I also did the telescope experience at the planetarium (one of the telescopes allowed our group to see a couple of stripes on Jupiter and 4 of its moons, which was really neat). My favourite activity to do every day was sitting close to the water, reading a book, and listening for the loons. I also got a relaxation massage at the spa; such a calming experience.

Our room didn't have AC and was facing into the sun all day so it was hot and our sleep wasn't restful as a result. Directly outside of our room, there was a a hydro-vac truck that ran most of each day during our visit and the food was extremely expensive. All in all, we weren't impressed with the quality of our visit in relation to the extreme pricing.
