Lovely room with view of lake, that is when a vehicle wasn’t parked right in front of our window. Very rude of the ppl who would do this and not necessary as this wonderful Hotel includes free valet services which we loved. Other than inconsiderate parking this hotel was a great place to spend New Years. Beautiful room spacious and newly renovated. Staff are spectacular in all they do! And we were so lucky to have amazing weather just below zero and sunny. Room service is my fave. Hot tub great but try the pool first! Felt too cold after the heat of the hot tub. S’mores station at night. Lights on trees and buildings. Magical visit. See you next year!

Upgrade offered, and even though it was a bigger room, the room was not one of recently renovated rooms, freezing cold, heaters inadequate. windows partially open, door had large gaps. If this is Fairmont standard from recent years, I am sorry for anyone paying premium prices for such poor facility standard. Renovated rooms is not justification to double or triple the price either.

Suite was in good condition. Staff were friendly, food was good. But the resort room buildings are built so close together you feel crammed in. The main building is under construction, therefore became an eye sore. The building you check in was underwhelming, no grande entrance. Overall for the price you pay and for it being a Fairmont in Jasper the grounds are underwhelming. Would not pay this much to stay again.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we drove up. The concierge agent was also very welcoming. The room was beautiful and clean with a terrific view of the lake in winter. As it was a special occasion, there was a delicious piece of birthday cake waiting for me in the room. Special touches like that make a guest feel special and it was much appreciated.

Room was recently renovated? Smelled badly of paint. I really wish Hotels.com would have listed on the Jasper Park Lodge hotel listing that it was undergoing renovations. I would not have booked had I known that. My bad for not researching further. Our stay was ok. However amenities were very limited and the paint smell in our room was quite bad.

Staff very good and professional especially restaurant. Room was excellent and grounds beautiful. Common areas and restaurant dated and a bit tired. Hotel made a bit of a fuss about parking even though hotel was not full. Position is beautiful.

First of all the grounds here are beautiful! The staff at check in were amazing and the room is absolutly gorgeous! Having a fireplace during the night going was perfect and at any time you can call and get more wood or get them to start the fire for you! This was the perfect quick girls get away!

Main lodge under renovations at this time. Would still highly recommend visiting as we got Exceptional service, room and relaxing atmosphere. Incredible views, enjoyed the heated outdoor pool & hottub. Loved the Planetarium.

The JPL is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. However be aware they are undergoing renovations and the main lodge is closed. I was not aware of this when booking our recent stay. Due to the renos there is only one dining option available (located in the golf clubhouse) from Sunday to Wednesday, with a second restaurant open Thurs - Sat only. We had also booked another two night stay during the Christmas break (and paid an insanely expensive rate) and after realizing the limited options and that the emerald lounge is closed (our favourite spot) I tried to cancel. After dealing with both Expedia and the Jasper park lodge I was told that my request had been denied, and that if I wanted to cancel I would lose my deposit of one night’s stay. Very frustrating that they are not offering better customer service and choosing to waive the cancellation fee, especially when undergoing renovations and not being able to offer the same experience to their guests. Just wanting to let people know this before booking your next stay. Buyer beware!!

Check-in was flawless with Jan A at the front desk! Cabin was lovely. Waiter was great in restaurant. Even the gentleman that drove me from the front desk in the gold cart who gave me a great meatball recipe was friendly and kind! Thanks JPL!
