Fairway Inn by the Falls

The room I stayed in had yellowish stain marks leading halfway up to the bathroom. The wallpaper was peeling, there was hair in the shower, and all towels had at least a small stain that could have been washed out (or the towel could have been replaced). Plug in your a/c regardless of the outside temperature, as the room will be considerably warm and only worsen through the night. Shops are within walking distance if you're looking to navigate the Clifton Hills or Niagara Falls area. Staff was present, but I didn't need them all that much. Quick check-in process, but watch for hidden fees like nightly parking ($15CAD Per Night). This is a place to stay if you're looking for solo traveling but definitely not a place for a luxury vacation. The general area was safe (considering I am from the Detroit area) but be mindful of your surroundings and stay in well lit areas, as staff will rarely be available past 10-11pm. I say all of this as an honest review, but overall, I enjoyed my stay and was able to put aside the minimal room concerns given that I was so close to my ideal destinations. Great place for a frugal trip, but I would recommend another place for people looking for good amenities and a good nights rest.

It was too hot in the room, the heater and AC was on at the same time. The washrooms weren't fully clean, there was hair in the shower. The receptionist was barely even there, you have to call them three times for them to pick up and sometimes they don't even pick up.

Everything was fine quiet convenient

Room was clean. Staff were very helpful. Rates were very reasonably. Convenient location.

The room is very dirty, there are cockroaches and the heating doesn't work, it's broken and that's where the bugs come from.Also. I gave a $200 deposit and they only gave me back $150. Don't leave anything wrecked, leave everything in great condition.

the room was very nice,it snowed all day & the parking lot was over a foot deep. we checked in about 5 PM, we went to our event & got back around 11PM, the parking lot still hadn't been plowed.got stuck trying to get in. we left at 8 AM it still wasnt plowed. they charge $15 to park. we wont come back.

The staff was really great and very helpful. You get what you pay for. But it is clean and there’s always someone in the front desk. Definitely will go again.

Any body at reception should have a better communication skill as front desk is the face of the property. The parking is expensive. They sell parking to outdoor people at 10. But charge boaders 15. Its not ok.

Overall, got good accomodation and really reasonable price. Bed was comfortable and washroom was clean with towels.

Traumatizing experience. They (whoever it is that “manages” the place) were slamming on my door at around 11 am and again at 12. I thought it was because I slept in from check out but realized my check out wasn’t until the next day. I refused to open the door because of their actions (very barbarian) as I was in my pjs half asleep. I called and they said they wanted to do house keeping and insisted to come in— I refused because it came out of no where and the lack of professional conduct made me feel unsettled to do so. I then went and gave them a taste of their own medicine and explained that this job was not good for them and that is why no one stays at their in (I am not paying to be treated like a prisoner — prisoners don’t get disrespected like I did). I told them I’m checking out and they called the cops saying I was breaking things! The cops came nothing happened. But these people need to be properly trained in hospitality before attempting to manage a property. This is Canada and i am not cattle. Educate yourselves instead of chasing the money and dream. Because let me assure you, people like me and who I associate with will NEVER allow people like you to get anywhere by treating people the way I was treated. There are standards which everyhotel needs to objectively stand by for these reasons— discrimination and disrespect. I am a spoiled girl who lives off her dads credit card but that is not of your concern. Cause your money hungry selves will be stuck….sorry …NOT!

Horrible , please avoid this place. Will never ever will stay in this motel. Dishonesty, never returned my security deposit of $200. During first week they said will reflect in the bank account in 1 week, later asked for 1 more weeks time, and then stopped lifting my calls. Do look for cheap price, ends up paying more!!!

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Fairway Inn By The Falls is a complete disaster and should be avoided at all costs. First of all, there was no hot water running through the shower — none. After a long trip, being forced to take an ice-cold shower is unacceptable. The washroom was filthy, like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages. To make things even worse, I found bed bugs on the bed. Yes, actual bed bugs. I wish I could upload the pictures and videos I took because it was that disgusting. And despite all of this, they still had the audacity to charge me $15 per day for parking — even though I was already lodging there. How does that make any sense? It’s ridiculous, greedy, and just adds insult to injury. Honestly, this place should be ashamed of itself. Poor hygiene, terrible service, and unnecessary fees. Never again. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
