The battery on the door to the room stopped working, and while the staff were great about it, it still took hours to get open, and we had to move all of our things to another room regardless. I let the manager know the only reason we were even staying in the hotel that night was to see a concert in the downtown area which we had to miss because we could not get access to our coats etc in time that were locked in the room (it was snowing). The next day they took $30 off the bill which I feel is not remotely adequate considering we lost the money for the concert tickets, and spent hundreds in food, drinks, etc plus the room fee while staying at there. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were nice but at the end of the day if something goes wrong like this and you know you won’t be compensated fairly I won’t risk staying here again.
