The room aren’t updated it.. lunch and breakfast is not good. They need to update that hotel. I wanted to leave as soon I check in. Really I don’t recommends.

Ants in the room were super annoying. There were so many of them.

Title: Worst Resort Ever – Traumatizing Experience at Playa Bachata! This place was absolutely horrible! I don’t even know where to start. The room was disgusting — AC didn’t work, fan didn’t work, toilet barely flushed, and everything felt hot and dirty. The pool was filthy and there was only ONE pool open for everyone. The beach was dirty, and it just felt like nobody cared about keeping this place clean. The food was nasty, drinks were disgusting, everything tasted spoiled or watered down. To make things worse, we saw huge roaches in our room and around the resort. That alone was enough to make me want to leave. But the worst part — my daughter got stung by a sea urchin at the beach. The so-called doctor at the resort was so money hungry and unprofessional, using a needle to pull out four sea urchins from her toes right there like it was nothing. No proper care, no compassion, just attitude and greed. My daughter was crying and scared, it was traumatizing to watch. This resort is a complete nightmare. Do not waste your money or time here. I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free. Playa Bachata is the WORST resort ever.

House keeping always made sure rooms were cleaned each day!

The staff are very racer they have preference they treat different the person special with Dominican They only like people from another country other then that is was good , room clean the food not so good

Room are very clean but need upgrade. Cannot cotrol the AC and the ceiling fan is very old and makes squeaky noises

I like the beach it was beautiful

Not the same as when it was a Riu resort. Cheap. No toiletries. Limit drinks and horrible breakfast.

Lo unico bonito es fue la vista al mar,pero como empresera hotelera el servicio muy malo nos pusieon a esperar 4 horas en lobbin sin darnos servicio cliente ,tuvismo que dar 200 dolares para trasladarnos a otro hotel senator y ello no nos ofrecieron el vip que pagamos para nosotro fue una estafa,la habitacion muy mala sucia ,los empleados muy selectivo a trato al cliente,la bebida muy malo.

Great location, bar overlooking the beach. Limited food after 11. Overnight food service run by a one man show. Not fair for him and greedy locals. Lost power overnight, yes no A/C, yet sister resort did not loose power. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Thier entertainment crew is amazing

Great hotel in a beautiful location! Do not book the standard room that sleeps 2-4 people if you have more than 2, as the room doesn't come equipped with the beds - you need to book a family room instead or waste a few hours on your first day trying to get an extra bed. The room is falsely advertised as 2 double beds, or 1 king bed - but the hotel explain that they do not offer double beds and it should say 2 single beds or 1 king bed. Other than that, a lovely stay, and credit to the reception team and manager who understood our frustration and helped us out.

The hotel was pleasant overall, although there are a few areas that could benefit from improvement. For instance, upon arrival, the security personnel did not permit entry until the official check-in time of 3 PM. Consequently, I had to wait outside with my children, as I arrived at 2 PM. Furthermore, the room appeared somewhat outdated, and the air conditioning was not functioning optimally. The food service need some improvement.

Our ac didn't work the entire duration of our stay and the front desk staff did not fix it even after 4 complaints. Outside of this the resort was pretty good, decent bang for your buck. The food was good not great, the pools were in good condition, the beach was good although could use a little clean up. The entertainment staff and shows were phenomenal. The bar staff were some of the best specifically Simon! Tropical ave offered a good selection for shopping, make sure you stop by and see Billy he was the best! All in all it was a decent resort, not great but not terrible. Very good bang for your buck!

The food is good. The Pool área is beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was the coffe.

staff was very friendly, Billy Joel from the candy store was excellent. The staff at the Amber & Co jewelry store were a bit hard to deal with but in the end it was all sorted thankfully. food was good and pools were amazing

El hotel necesita mucha atencion en el lobby y el area del buffet todo se ve muy pasado de moda ,en las habitaciones aunque limpias y espanciosas pero todo necedita renivarse.
