The Somerset Hotel
Pros and cons about this hotel... Pros: - super friendly and helpful front desk staffs. They are very responsive and kind to make our 4D3N a good stays - location is very near to Marylebone Train Station, nearby have Tesco express and bus stations so we can easily travel to city. - the bed was very comfy and the room was warm even without heater system - the water pressure in toilet was very strong and the heater system was functioning well. Cons: - there’s no lift service here but luckily we are being assigned to stay at ground floor - the wall insulation may not be good, can easily hear others talking along the hallway - the overall cleanliness of the bedsheet and toilet were quite bad. Got obvious blood stains on the pillow sheet and shockingly there was mouse under the bathtub. Reminder: Remember don’t throw any food residue into the toilet trash bin in order not to seduce the mouse to come out from the bathtub. Overall this old hotel is for those who need short terms stays and easy access to london city. Other than that, you may need to pay higher price for a better quality hotel. Again, bravo to the helpful staffs!!!
