You can see this hotel was a place to be in its day but it has had its day! Needs a really good clean from top to bottom. Avoid floor 6, draughty windows, first and secondary glazing, meaning the wind and noise comes in. Barely warm radiator which only comes on for part of the day leaving the room cold. Way too expensive for the room I got!! Bedding was clean though and housekeeping did give me an extra duvet to keep warm. Didn’t want to feel like I was staying there when the hotel was built though! Just too cold and grubby for me.

Very dated. Sound travels through walls and doors. Very basic room. Breakfast decent and no complaints on the few staff we dealt with. Great location.
