Chesford Grange Hotel

We stayed one night at Chesford Grange while traveling from Oxford to Cambridge and were immediately charmed by its lovely architecture and spacious parking lot. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Our room, and the bathroom, were both surprisingly spacious, tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a restful night and woke up to a wonderful buffet breakfast. Later that day, once we had reached Cambridge, our daughter realized she had left one of her bags in the hotel lobby during check-out. We called the hotel, and the staff promptly located the missing item and kindly assisted with arranging DHL delivery (at our expense, of course, as the hotel’s standard policy only covers UK returns). Thanks to their swift and helpful response, the bag reached us safely at our next stop in France. It was not only a pleasant stay, but also a truly impressive aftercare experience. Lovely cosy room in the original building, nice spacious bathroom (only niggle is that a chair to put clothes on would have been handy). Comfy bed, nice sheets. We stay at the Chesford regularly and it's always a reliably good stay. Breakfast is very good and varied. Plenty of gluten free options for our coeliac daughter. We tried room service this time, easy to order and very tasty chicken burger. Staying again tomorrow night with dogs, this has previously been very easy, the grounds are fabulous for walks. Overall a great hotel with friendly helpful staff.

The hotel is lovely and a great location for anyone visitng Warwick Castle. The room was clean as was the hotel itself. Staff were always around and very polite. Some of the meals in the restaurant was overpriced but I guess that's standard these days, would visit again.
