The rooms are very quiet and clean. The breakfast that is offered is amazing with lots of choices! The staff are friendly and really go that extra mile for their customers.

While the hotel is very clean, clean and well located for my purposes, it is not designed for short people. Towel bars were so high I could not reach to hang up a towel. Nor does it have enough storage space for a long stay that said I would stay there again because of the location, the staff and the overall ambience.

I had went to check in which was pretty standard until it was time to pay for breakfast. The receptionist had input £109 on the card reader of which I asked why I was being charged that amount for breakfast. She proceeded to say I’m being charged for breakfast of which I explained to her that she had said it was £14 so why am I being charged £109. She then had said I’m being charged for the room and I explained to her I have already paid. She then proceeded to go back and forth with me saying I have not paid and it is not on the system I have only paid for the guarantee. I then showed her my confirmation receipt to which she said well it’s not on her system. I honestly felt extremely embarrassed. She had requested for me to show her my bank transaction of which I did then I was asked if I had paid in euros as if that would make a difference?!?! I had paid the full amount end of. I felt like such a lemon. She then eventually found it and offered no apology what so ever! I was fuming, i eventually found my room which was okay for a superior room but not amazing. That experience honestly made me want to leave. The breakfast too was mediocre some things were cold and it wasn’t very clean. Tables were left dirty. Clayton in Aldgate has been my absolute favourite I’ve stayed there 3x and will continue to go back. Chiswick was my first time and by far my worst will not be going there again!!

I left my brand new very expensive olaplex shampoo and conditioner in the room as I was rushing with my one year old baby. As soon as I got home I called the hotel and they "couldn't find it" this was financially devastating for me as I can't afford to replace them. I expect more from such an expensive hotel. They also don't tell visitors how dangerous it is to park by the hotel.

The mattres in the bed was hard Pillows was hard and difficult to sleep on When moved the lamp on the side table, you could see mark of mugs / drinks No hand towel holder in the bathroom - not replaced and only some bolts on the wall The toilet flush was only working on the full empting of water (not the save water alternative) There were stains on the mirrors from previous guests The sink in the bathroom had chip and cracks in it The temperature in the room was cold! We turned the temperature to 24 degrees but we never felt it warmed up properly!
