As a regular guest at this hotel I have to say that this particular stay was excellent in every respect except for the unnecessary haggle at reception over the cost of parking which was somehow more than I had paid a few days earlier, again booking through hotels.com. The room was perfect, although the tv was not easy to operate - probably a remote control issue - which somehow resulted in only Jeremy Clarkson being available for viewing - not ideal!.. I can recommend the noodle 🍜 bowl with grilled chicken or salmon in the Globe Bar at the hotel. Both were excellent, as was the service.

Stayed here for 3 nights for business in the City, is a great hotel on the edge of the City, close to the tube and with a good car park onsite.
Service is pretty good most of the time and food is okay too.
Overall a very good hotel

Hotel looks and feels good in the lobby, however room areas are run down, somewhat smelly and old. Our room was not very clean, bathroom sink drain not draining at all. Couch surface was dirty and nasty, behind the couch lots of dust and debris.

online check inn didnt work
sofa bed wasnt made up
both room tvs didnt work
breakfast was freezing even the fresh made was cold.
the hotel could be great but lacks the basics. cold sausages and freezing eggs is behond any hotel a working tv and having beds made up when its clear they will be needed

I have stayed here about 6 times before. This time there were a few room issues I didn't expect, which was disappointing as I has not experienced them before. A quality control check could have identified these issues. The aircon when set to 18 didn't cool the room below 24, and this was in April. Chipped paint. Cracked filler. Marked door to room. Tv very difficult to select channel. Mould in shower.

Excellent stay and secure underground parking for £22. Just a few minutes walk to Gunnersby tube station. Very Clean hotel and the rooms are the most comfortable I’ve stayed in around London. All round 5 stars from me and will be returning frequently
