I had a lovely stay at the Harbour hotel. I arrived later than hoped after a long, stressful train journey. The two ladies on reception greeted me warmly and one took me through to the lift and gave me a little history of the building. Sadly, I didn’t have time to experience the spa facilities but if I’d have been there for longer, I definitely would. The restaurant looked really nice. My room was gorgeous. The bed was huge and very comfortable. There was a complimentary gin waiting for me, which was welcome. The bathroom was clean and modern with very nice toiletries provided. The hotel was close to lots of bars and restaurants and wasn’t far to walk to the docks. I really enjoyed my stay and would like to go back to spend a couple of nights there when I’m not working! It was reasonably priced too. Many thanks.

This was our first stay at this hotel, although we have stayed in many hotels in Bristol over the years, this one was recommended by a friend. So, we gave it a go, and so glad we did! At the price point, it is certainly the best we have stayed in anywhere in the city! The booking was easy and all requests were accommodated flawlessly. Check in was an absolute doddle, and the staff were genuinely kind, funny and welcoming. The location was smack bang in the middle of town, within an easy walk of the Bristol Hippodrome and the Colston Hall (now renamed), so great for gigs and shows! The room was fabulous, quirky but luxurious, and the bed was seriously one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I really cannot praise this place highly enough! In fact, we’re going back in a few weeks!

Fab hotel, lovely rooms, great location (for Bristol City Centre!) only drawback is it’s quite a walk from car park if you have luggage, but it is a city centre hotel I guess!

Staff really helpful, helped where they could. Doesnt make clear when booking the pool is extra and the room we were in had windows that were darkened, unable to open and were less than a foot from a brick wall. Gave impression you were in a cellar. For such an expensive and opulent hotel this was a dissapointment. This wasnt mentioned on booking. Staff did look for alternatives for us but none available. Staff were lovely.

Nice boutique hotel. Would have liked feather pillows as an option as synthetic too 'puffy'. Attempted to complete hotel survey but not working.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful historic building. Great central location. We felt we had 'splashed out' for a suite so I was expecting the room to be a bit bigger or have a separate sitting area. It was a lovely room, but maybe not worth the step up in price. The spa is really good, had everything I would look for The general finish is all to a really high standard. I was a bit surprised though to find the carpet on the 1st floor where we stayed is fairly dirty. Wouldn't normally care, but since it's a proper high end hotel, it should probably be addressed

Quirky building being an old bank with the spa down in the basement vaults. Good service, lovely decor, great nights sleep. Fabulously tasty breakfast. Brilliant location right in the old quarter of St Nicholas market. Would definitely stay again.

Receiving numerous emails in advance of booking regarding extra costs around parking, spa, breakfast and deposit was disconcerting. However the hotel was beautifully decorated and comfortable. The only issue I had with the room 252 was noisy extractor and the shower screen being broken, so the floor got wet and I had to use the spa slippers. In all a lovely stay and would book again.

Staff were very friendly, it was really welcoming. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy but the only downside was the pillows were very uncomfortable, they were very lumpy and hard (even the soft ones, what filling there was had formed lumps).

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On Friday night they allowed us in to the hotel bar even though there was no one else there. The building is very unique and can feel a bit like a maze but it adds to the charm of the hotel.

This was our third stay at Bristol Harbour Hotel. It’s a wonderful hotel overall but this stay was just not exceptional like the other experiences we have had there. The room was great, a deluxe room with incredible bed and great facilities. There was no view as we were on a different side of the hotel as previous but that was OK. Room service cooked breakfast was hot and brilliantly cooked but missed items such as toast that we ordered and there was no butter or jam for the croissants, condiments or Ketchup. When we arrived the state of our floor was not good enough with the days laundry strewn across the floor, including in front of the lift. As we had 4 rooms booked at huge expense with guests we invited this was a real shame as we weren’t checking in early. Overall a reasonable stay, we would come back but on this occasion it was just not as amazing as before.
