Highly recommend this hotel for a central London stay. Here's what we enjoyed: 1. We arrived early in the morning, so our room was not ready. The staff stowed our luggage for us, and they gave us entry into the Executive Lounge for the day so we could rest and recover before doing anything else. 2. Location, location, location! If you are coming from Heathrow to London on the express, you don't even have to walk outside the train station to get to the hotel! Simply walk across, go up to the Starbucks, and boom...you are in the hotel! 3. Large room! We had a bedroom and sitting room, and because there were 3 of us, the pullout couch (which was actually comfortable) area was like having two bedrooms. Very nice! 4. Onsite restaurants! Starbucks is right there, and so is the hotel restaurant. So easy! Here's what we didn't like: ... See, nothing! Great experience!

Great hotel for a two week stay in London. Good beds, comfortable, quiet rooms with plenty of space, a nice breakfast, friendly staff. And we love the location! Especially with the new Elizabeth line, you can get to anywhere in London very easily from here. They are renovating the rooms later this year, so am crossing fingers it will remain a good value.

I booked a double room and was given a twin. As I was jet lagged, I was too tired to ask for a change. Single beds are not comfortable. The decor and facilities in the room are so dated. There was constant noise from fans outside. The plus was having a bath tub with nice toiletries and the location being so close to Paddington.

This hotel is not accessible-friendly. No ramp to get into hotel (only steps) and no bellman/porter outside to help with luggage. No restroom on ground floor (near restaurant); restrooms on next floor up are accessible only by going up/down approx. 5 stairs. Shower head was in an elevated and narrow bathtub. I usually chose Hiltons when traveling internationally because of common standards one expects from a Hilton hotel (useful power outlets, washcloths in bathrooms), but this hotel only had UK outlets, maybe one European outlet, and 1 USB outlet -- on the desk, not bedside). Just glad we decided to throw in our adapter at last minute for sister CPAP machine. We were here for a 2-night stay & on 2nd morning, construction work started in room next door at 7:30am. While hotel comped me 10K HHonor points and gave access to executive lounge, I would have preferred to sleep in and have a quiet morning (we only had an afternoon tour that day). They were unable to move us to another room because hotel was full, and we were not notified that construction work was going to be occurring. No washcloths. Breakfast buffet is expansive and wide variety. The F&B supervisor (Titus?) was exceptionally helpful in assisting my sister with gluten free options. While the hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Paddington train & metro stations, it is in a pretty sketchy part of town. We appreciated concierge's recommendation of a nearby Lebanese restaurant -- our first time eating at one.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Paddington after booking via Expedia, and it was a disaster from start to finish. This property is a far cry from a 4-star experience and was easily one of my worst hotel stays. The Main Issues: • The "Key" Runaround: My room key failed to work three separate times. Each time, I had to trek back down to the lobby just to gain access to my own room. For a hotel of this scale, that level of technical failure is ridiculous. • Substandard Rooms: The rooms are incredibly dated and show significant wear and tear. Worse, the air conditioning was completely broken, making the room stuffy and uncomfortable. • Construction Zone: Despite paying full price, I was placed on a construction floor. Waking up to the noise and dust of a renovation site is not what I signed up for. It felt like they used my Expedia booking as an excuse to dump me in the worst available part of the building. The Verdict: Do not be fooled by the "Hilton" name or the convenient location. The service is poor, the infrastructure is failing, and the rooms are ancient. Stay away from this hotel—there are much better options in Paddington.
