Mercure Norwich Hotel

Clean but dated room. Damaged items of furniture. Hairdryer didn't work. Whole place has just seen better days

Nice room, very clean

Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Room was a good size, very comfortable bed. Breakfast selection was excellent.

It was a good stay all round. Friendly and helpful staff.

Check-in was efficient, and breakfast was decent and good value. However, our stay was disturbed by a birthday party taking place two floors below our two rooms, which lasted until midnight. The music and noise were so loud that we were unable to sleep until the party ended. When we called Reception, we were told there was nothing they could do. We would expect the hotel to manage such situations better, as the comfort of overnight guests should not be compromised by events held on the premises.

Fast freindly check in

Stayed for 2 nights to attend a dear friends 60th birthday party. Plenty of free parking. Room was clean and comfortable. Room rate was reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient pub and Supermarket across the road. Would stay here again.

Staff very friendly but building in need of refurb. Very old fashioned and not like other mercures I have stayed at.

We stayed at this hotel as visiting family, city centre is close but unsure of time. The hotel was well positioned for us and easy accessible to major roads, loads of free parking. Staff and breakfast were great, we spoke to the ladies cleaning the room and very helpful. Parts of the room and hotel were slightly dated but the hotel and room was very clean and tidy. I would recommend.

Decent hotel if a little dated. Don’t let that put you off though, it’s very clean with good staff

Restaurant closed early. Rooms dated and not super clean. Friendly staff but wxpensive for the quality and condition

We had a 1 night stay for a quick break the staff were excellent and so helpful couldn't have done more, will certainly go back there again food was great

Arrived early and the lady on reception arranged for our room to be made up to allow us to check in, above and beyond service. Lovely room and we were lucky to have air con on the hottest day of the year. Bar area nice we didn't eat so can't rate the food. Only slight niggle was there was no outside area to enjoy the sun

The drinks in the bar were expensive therefore it was quiet with no ambience. The whole hotel could do with refurbishment. There was no lift. The shelf the hairdryer was on was dusty and the bag containing the hairdryer also.

Friendly staff, large comfortable beds, powerful shower. Good selection at breakfast. Have stayed twice and would stay again.
