Fast check in. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast. Staff very friendly.

Clean room and helpful staff

Hotel was well located and had ample parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the room left a lot to be desired. The mattress and pillows were old and lacked support. The room temperature controls didn’t seem to work too well so the room was too hot. The window in the room was noisy in windy conditions.

when we arrived i asked the receptionist if we would be able to have an extended check out as i called in advance to ask and was told i would be able to check out at 1 the next day but just to reinforce this when i arrived. The receptionist wasn't very welcoming and dismissed us with the excuse of there not being enough cleaning staff and being busy. We got to our room and the tv did not work only showed "tv cannot connect to pc". we called downstairs to reception someone came to look and told us it would work "later" and was seeing if there were any other rooms available. we waiting for around 20 minutes with no update. we rang back to reception and was told the same thing. the same member of staff came to our room with breakfast tokens for the trouble of the tv. later on in the evening approximately around 9pm we called to see if there were any possible room service to which it was closed by that time. however, none of this was explained to us upon arrival. the next morning the breakfast was horrible. the scrambled eggs were rubbery, the toast was burnt, the bacon did not taste like bacon and the beans were watery.

Excellent Friendly staff

Hotel was clean and large room. However, the male staff on reception were very miserable and no eye contact when checking in. One was also reading a fiction book at one point. The room was cold and no way of turning the temperature up or down as the control on the wall was turned off, with no way of turning on. Slept in trousers and jumper, which did expect to have to do.

Great hotel for a 1 or two day visit not much to do around there close to a Morrisons.

Clean room with a tea and coffee tray, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board. The beds were comfortable, although we found the mattresses a bit on the hard side, but that’s probably a matter of personal preference. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of both hot and continental options. The only real issue was the soundproofing. We could hear every single step outside and every word from the room next to us.

Perfect for what was needed good location and clean

The room was fine, but had a strange smell. The air conditioner was too hot, and didnt seem to cool the room down. The fridge didnt work in the room. Staff at the front desk seemed distracted, telling me that maintenance had been, but I ended up fixing it myself in the end. Note: if the is light on in the fridge doesn't mean the fridge is on. No room service

Room was a good size, everything clean. Food was excellent. Plenty of parking avaliable.

Clean room and courteous staff.

Room had all you needed for a short stay and was comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Most staff were very good, friendly and helpful, some not so much.

Everything great except the sound proofing in the windows. The hotel backs onto some kind of industrial site so there was noise from vehicles on that site until the early morning and then early again in the morning. Staff were great and the standard of the room was excellent. Just take some ear plugs if you are given a room at the back of the hotel

The room was a bit cold. It would also benefit from having a lamp on the desk as the desk area was too dark to work at comfortably even with the main lights on. Food was ok but did decide to eat elsewhere after the first night

Very clean, good breakfast choice. staff especially Joe excellent. Shame Restaurant had to close on the Sunday. Had to get a takeaway. Would stay here again.

The staff members were excellent. The rooms were a bit in need of updating, but comfortable and very clean. All in all, a good value for the price.
