Novotel London Bridge

Very basic hotel, 2 stars at most. Only the location was good. Very expensive and very poor service. Sink, toilet and shower basically stuck. Reception didn't want to give me the breakfast I booked and paid for. Many colleagues had similar experiences. Bad experience

The room was spotless and the size was tight, though location, location, location, is the key for my/our stay. No challenges obtaining additional towels and everything was good upon return each evening

Area was great with lots to do near hotel. They sent us a questionnaire asking for an estimate of our arrival and we indicated the time-slot 12-3. We arrived at 3:00 and they told us our rooms wouldn’t be ready until regular checkin time of 4 PM. They held our luggage securely while we waited. When we finally gained access to our rooms, one had a terrible sewage smell. We let the front desk know, and they came and checked out the room, when we came back several hours later the room still had a bad smell. They switched the room for us. The other room - the television turned on but wouldn’t allow channel changes. The front desk told us they don’t have maintenance there to assist until the next day. They offered to comp us 30% for that first night, even received proof on statement at checkout, but never received the credit back to our card as promised. Rooms were small, but clean. Breakfast was good.

Staff very friendly the room was disappointed and drab nothing like the pictures onsite There is no real wall between the toilet and bedroom it’s complete lack of privacy We were very disappointed unfortunately but the staff were very nice and helpful

I chose Novotel London bridge because is convenient to find nice places n meet up with friends. Borough yard n market is a 5 min walk. Room size also matter to me. However it can improve on the mattress quality n pillows n bedding set. I stayed 6 nights and it's not comfortable for my back. I like the Ritual amenities in the bathroom. Fantastic

When we arrived hotel receptionist were quite rude, didn’t even welcome us there. check in took very long time even though we had called to ask for the room to be done early as we arrived early. Room was not done until 3.

The Novotel Hotel is a gem in the Southwark area of London. It is close to the Borough Market and many pubs and restaurants. The rooms are clean and the staff very helpful.

Clean and tidy rooms. Could do with more lighting, was rather dim. Also the Chromecast wasn't working despite maintenance staff trying to fix it. Staff were helpful and friendly. Quiet with only minor street noise.
