Osborne Hotel

Great value for money and great customer service.

I had a very pleasant one night stay in the Osborne hotel on January 7th the check-in was very smooth and quick I was travelling alone so my room was for one person and had everything I needed for my stay. staff are very welcoming and attentive the breakfast is table service and very good.would definitely stay here again. William

The room was disgusting. It had a stale, musty odour, despite the window being wide open on our arrival in the middle of winter. The kettle was covered in muck, had food stains and was full of stagnant water. The carpets were disgusting, in the room as well as in the public areas. Not only were they not vacuumed but they had ground in dirt. The beds were really uncomfortable. The bathroom was a health hazard. There was urine stains down the front of the toilet, dirt and filth around the whole toilet including up the tiled walls. The shower cubicle had brown stained door seals as they have not been cleaned for years, if at all. There was broken plastic from the seals left on the floor of the shower cubicle. The tiles on the floor of the cubicle were stained and have never been cleaned. The shower heads had brown deposits coming out of them and the water pressure was non existent. There was no lock on the bathroom door and you could not lock the room door from the public area. The TV did not work. Avoid this hotel!!! A report will be submitted to Environmental Health and HSE.

Nice place for the price.Convenient to town. Only disappointment is that the duvet cover was not clean and smelt musty-luckily there was a clean blanket in the cupboard and the heating was effective.

Always a friendly welcome, and great breakfast - you won't find a better poached egg! A couple of minor maintenance glitches in the room, but the receptionist was happy to note them for attention after our departure.

Very nice, cozy hotel with friendly staff and excellent amenities. Within an easy walk to Metro and local attractions like Jesmond Dene. Highly recommended!

I found the hotel very welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable and warm. The ensuite (although small) was sparkling clean with a good shower and freshly laundered towels. I would definitely book to stay here again. Larry.

Room was clean and warm. Bed and pillows a bit lumpy and firm for my liking so didn't sleep as well as I'd have liked. Breakfast was very good and staff were first class.

Always a great day here, super friendly staff, rooms always clean and comfy beds. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at Osborne Hotel a couple of times now whilst out on 'work dos'. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything that you require for an overnight stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly especially Laura on Reception. She makes you feel so welcome. Full English breakfast the next morning is also wonderful!

Great staff. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Great location. 20 mins walk to centre or take the bus from the bus stop just across the road. Restaurant attached to hotel was fab for evening meal. Great food and great price.
