Park Hotel

Hi, I'm writing to express my disappointment with my stay at Park Hotel in Ilford last night. I regret choosing this hotel as it wasn't comfortable or conducive to a relaxing visit. Issues I encountered: - Room lacked basic amenities (no bathroom mat, no TV subscription, limited toileties) - Breakfast options were very limited (tiny sachet of milk, no water in fridge) But what really took the cake was the company's policy of withholding customer deposits for damage. They held my deposit saying the bank would hold it for 15 days, even though I was leaving without damage. Holding a customer's money that long for a one-night stay feels unfair. Overall, I didn't enjoy my stay and wouldn't recommend it. Hope this feedback helps

it was not the way they portrait it to me that is misleading and misinformation even i have not received my deposit yet this seems very unprofessional and not somewhere I would recommend to anyone this hotel deserves a 0 star pooooor

The room cleanliness was very poor. There was a strong unpleasant smell, and the room felt dirty and uncomfortable. The bed was broken, the side table was damaged, and there was very little space in the room. There was no wardrobe or sufficient storage space. Overall, the room did not meet basic comfort or cleanliness standards.

For the price, this place was perfect.

The room was not good, and we were charged a £100 deposit even though there was nothing in the room worth that amount. On top of that, we found two mice in our room. The room was shabby the bed didn't have a proper mattress and the pillows were extremely hard. The furniture looked like old 1990s IKEA, with peeling varmish, ring marks, and very worn-out condition. The hotel wasn't dirty, but it was very run-down. There wasn't even a dustbin in our room

The worst hotel have stayed in, the customer service is awful that I checked out earlier to secure a reservation in another hotel nearby

Obviously as the price was very cheap, I wasn't expecting luxury. The single room is very small and it's outdated. However I didn't need anything else and having my ensuite was all I care about. The bed was very uncomfortable, it was sank in the middle. There wasn't any cupboards for clothes, but it did have a small desk and bedside table a TV and a fridge which I really appreciated. They have an ample free parking and street parking all free which is also something I really appreciate. The only thing I didn't like at all is they taking a £100 deposit. I've never heard any hotel which does this, I only hope they give it back to me on time without any issues

No hot water and inadequate heating.

I didn’t even stay there,and didn’t get a refund. I had to go to another hotel. Staff was rude at receprion. Im gonna need my money back.

Front of house staff were brilliant. Parking was good. Could do with better pillows otherwise it was good for the price

⚠️ Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Avoid This Place! ⚠️ Stayed from 6–9 Nov 2025 but paid , and it was a nightmare from check-in to check-out. Saw a man using drugs outside the hotel, then police arrived after a woman overdosed in a nearby room. Broken bed, no Wi-Fi, and no cleaning even after multiple complaints. My cousin was approached by women outside asking to go to the room for “fun” — totally unsafe! After days of terrible service, we checked out early (lost money + no deposit refund). This place is not family-friendly, feels unsafe, and is full of drugs and shady activity. 0/5 – Do NOT book this hotel! Families Avoid it for your wife or kids safety and also read the google review its the worst HOTEL in this Area!!

Budget place. Don't expect anything. Free parking. Clean enough.

Parking was easy , a lot of shops, nearby and easily accessible public transport. we booked a family and a triple room. Triple room was terrible with only beds in a small box room, had to keep luggage on floor. They changed room next day after complaint. Mattresses were very poor quality and could be improved. Over all our stay was ok as we chose it due to shops and nearby tube station.

Good priced and only a short tube ride into central. Staff was very helpful and friendlt. Each day would return from being out to find fresh towels and toilet rolls replenished without primptinf. Gr3at service

Parking was a farce, but staff did open the back gate to let us park on site as all other spaces were taken up. Room was in a poor state, ripped chairs, rat poison boxes, paper thin pillows. Pictures on the website were not representative of the hotel today, it has deteriorated significantly. Work was also going on in the hotel, with lots of shouting, banging and drilling going on. We got out our room and dust sheets had been put down and all the walks were wet with paint. We weren’t told of any work taking place in advance. The first receptionist we met was nice and helped with getting the security guard to open the back gate to park, and when we asked for more pillows said he’d get the sister hotel to send some over, unfortunately the receptionists on after him around midnight were much less helpful, when I told them that I was there to collect the pillows that should have arrived and they told me that there would definitely mot be pillows arriving from the sister hotel at such a time and instead offered extra towels.

Cleanliness isn’t great, saw a few mice. The staff banged and barged into my room the first day I got there. No one allowed for me to answer before they came to the door and I walked in while in bed resting after traveling. You get what you pay for and this place was cheap.
