I had a great stay and decided to extend it . I really liked the hotel and the rooms. Breakfast had such a huge choice , one of the best I had. Staff super friendly and chatty. I will definitely come back if in Birmingham again.

Beautiful hotel Impressive reception area. Booked basic double and that is what we got- nothing flashy, but very clean and functional for one nights stay. Staff very helpful and friendly Lovely breakfast again with pleasant staff Only downside is the price of parking But otherwise I would stay again

A good hotel. Enjoyable stay. Even booked an extra night which was cheaper than Expedia so a lesson learned. I knocked a star off as the main lifts weren't working which was causing havoc.

The hotel it's self is beautiful the decor superb.. the rooms were adequate compared to the hotel it's self they seemed basic.. the room was clean and comfortable all amenities including I liked the added wash cloths but a toothbrush and toothpaste would've been excellent. The room was clean only issue was on the window sill there were some peeling paint that looked like mould. Our room had no remote for the TV and the Aircon was stuck on all night which made it abit chilly.. the phone didn't work properly as we were trying to call reception we had to go down in person. Other than that we had a good stay.

Very poor experience for the third time now. Wrong room type allocated so was moved to another. Still wrong room type to what I had paid for and requested. Third room was again was wrong type but decided to stay as it was now nearly midnight! Complaint made with promise of follow up email from management which never arrived. Will not use this hotel again and would have better luck with premier inn as all rooms are the same! Staff tried to be very helpful but could not Avondale the original booking request and the price remained unchanged for a standard room when executive was originally booked and paid for??

Slow check in was keen I was given a rating card without telling where my room was. Room was not clean wrappers and rubbish in the bin, tried to order room service rang out several times no answer. I went down and ordered my meal directly with the bar, After a 40 minute wait it finally arrived old and missing items. The curry was more bones than meat and missing nan bread, the cheese board no chutney. Again tried calling no answer. I tried to discuss this at check out. Was told I wasn’t alone many customers complained about missing food, no refund offers for missing items or apology
