I loved the convenience - the check in system with a bunch of honesty cards seemed a bit cumbersome. However mattress & bedding excellent and the TV screen was big! Plenty of places to eat around the hotel and short walk to Hyde Park

I was super impressed with my room! For a single, it was way larger than all the other single rooms I’ve stayed at other hotels nearby. Really modern and comfortable, and spotlessly clean! Loved how you can adjust the temperature yourself. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely stay here again.

Great location for getting around. Staff friendly and helpful, especially with the ease of leaving bags before check-in and after checkout. My single room was small but adequate with a nice bathroom. The rooms are quite close together and narrow hallways echo-ey; doors are quite loud when banging shut. One major thing to be aware of is the rooms have the original single-glazed sash windows with poor sound insulation, and as the hotel is next to a busy road I highly recommend ear plugs - unless you are a VERY early riser! Loud motorbikes, lorries and police sirens disturbed my sleep from 5am onwards.

Would recommend great for price

Room was exactly what i needed for a brief overnight stay. Room was clean, bathroom and shower were good. Bed was comfy. Friendly staff at check in. Ate at Ask next door and food was good.

Staff are very helpful and nice, hotel is near lots of cool places and near a Greggs so thats a big plus, room was clean and bed was comfortable ( though it was leaning a bit to the left for some reason), also there was good tea in the room.

This was a nice property. Clean, if small. The renovations made it more comfortable although a bit cheap. But great deal for the price. A bit of street noise but ear plugs took care of that.

Compact accommodation close to tube and mainline stations reasonably pri ed and comfortable with tea, coffee and bottled water in room. Modern bathroom and communal lounge. Wealth of coffee shops and restaurants nearby

Lots of shops nearby. Staff friendly but not around much. Lovely stay. Would prefer to have had two room keys but nobody around to ask at check in.

Great quality for the price, 3 minutes walk to Paddington, easy access via coded card-box at entrance...well priced 'Ask' Italian restaurant next door

My room was on the third floor and as soon as it started raining, the ceiling leaked and the entire bathroom floor got wet. The response time for the staff after 4pm is very slow. The rooms are dated and could be cleaner, my bed sheets had a few stains on them. The room has AC, but you can’t adjust it on the thermostat. Overall, it’s not bad if you’re expectations are low. You get exactly what you pay for.

The biggest sell for this property is undoubtedly its location, moments away from Hyde Park and Paddington station. The room itself is functional with big windows to make the most of light. However, the floor being wood rather than carpet can make the room feel cold and uncomfortable when having had a shower and getting ready. They have tried to maximise what is available in the room with a tv and chair in front of it but this is in such a position and fixed height for the chair that it won’t be used and is space that could be best used in other ways. The bathroom is too small for what has been put in. I had to always have the door open whilst using the toilet because it is such a tight space, particularly for my height of 6ft. The shower door moving inwards covers the handle for the show so you can’t turn it on to warm up before getting in, forcing you to stand under the cold water whilst it heats up. The stairs at the entrance of the property are also uneven in depth which could make for an unstable walk for some guests. Finally, the door was broken on the final day of my stay. I am unsure how this was managed in the evenings but reception staff were there in the day to mange this. The staff for this property were pleasant and helpful and location is fantastic. Ultimately it’s some of the design and choices for the space that I think impact how comfortable this stay could be.

The room was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, spit marks on the mirror and soap residue everywhere. The comforter on the bed was ripped and the window did not close properly (even when latched) so even with heating on the room was ice cold and we could hear passerby discuss. The emergency # was a deadend and we received no support. After we complain the next day, the hotel requested photo and ghosted us. They refused to reimburse us.

Room is good but very small for 2 people. The front desk staff very helpful in carrying my heavy luggage up stairs. Location is fabulous.
