I booked thos last minute and on arrival i was greeted by a male who had no customer service skills at all. The hotel appeared empty. I paid then upon doing so a group of males wondered in askingbtge man questions about their "flat" he completely ignored me. I asked if these men wre living in the hotel hevsaif yes. They were black males with accents that sounded nigerian. I was shocked it was an asylum hotel I think... staff refused refund even when hotels.com called beware not a hotel...

Staff were amazing, room was great and overall stay was good. Only downfall i had was the room was way to hot. The little fan provided was just blowing hot air around. Air conditioning would be a good investment especially during summer. I would have booked another night but the room temperature has put me off booking again.

Stayed purely to catch an early train the next morning, but the hotel was fine for that. It's dated but clean, and the staff were great. Bar good enough for a quiet drink. Definitely get what you pay for, overall.

Good free car park with plenty of space. Decent size single room, bed comfortable. Hotel is a bit shabby and needs updating. General lack of maintenance, in my bathroom the toilet roll holder was broken. Breakfast just about OK, cooked food very greasy and looked as if it had been there some time.
