The new manager was very welcoming to my son and me. Showed us around the hotel including the gym. The morning manager was super friendly and took time to conect with my son with special needs, ensuring his breakfast was right. The twin room was spacious and a great, powerful shower. The room was warm too. We will be back. Easy reach of Leicester TeamSport go karting.

Tremendous value. We were in Leicestershire for a pre-Christmas family get-together. The hotel was everything we needed. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable, the staff friendly and happy to help, and the hotel had a pleasant festive vibe about it. Great location in the middle of Quorn too. Thanks again to the hotel manager who whipped out the first aid kit when I was daft enough to injure a couple of fingers at 10pm on a Sunday evening.

Parking was easy and secure. There was no bar but not problem for us. When I booked, the confirmation informed me that a continental breakfast was included, however upon arriving I was told breakfast was £7.95 each, but I am not complaining because the prices were all reasonable.

Hotel was dated and felt slightly creepy as we were the only people staying there. We had paid online and breakfast was £12, however when we checked in breakfast was advertised at £7.95, very naughty. Next day we went to breakfast and no one was there. We helped ourselves to coffee and cereal and eventually someone came in to cook breakfast. To be fair it was nice and piping hot as they had to cook from scratch. The same girl was on reception when we left, didnt feel like anyone else was working there? Our bedroom was large but shabby and the hotel wasnt particularly clean. Cost was cheap but still disappointing

This is a B&B not a hotel, has a bar but no restaurant. Building and interior is looking tired, rooms have an old fashioned feel and really need updating. Has the old fashioned knobs and buttons on the headboard to control lights other knobs stopped working a long time I’m sure. White paintwork has turned a yellow is colour. Mould in the grout around the bath. My bath floor Matt was soaking wet and dirty, however ver neatly folded and placed on the bath. Shower Hot tap cover came off in my hand, Traditional style wall lights in the corridor had bulbs removed and non working. Instead very cheap and stupidly bright sensor LED lights had been installed at head height, so as you walked down the corridor you got blinded from both sides as the flashed on. Not

disappointment and frustration with my recent check-in experience at this hotel. On arrived at Quorn Country Hotel and attempted to check in, but was incorrectly accused of not paying for my room. I had booked and paid for my stay through the Experia app, but the staff refused to acknowledge this and demanded an additional payment. I was shocked and embarrassed by the situation, especially as there were other guests queuing behind me. Despite my clear explanation and offer to provide proof of payment, I was forced to pay for my room again, as I had no choice but to resolve the situation quickly. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of understanding and support from the staff was unacceptable. I'm now seeking a full refund for the duplicate payment and an apology for the distress and inconvenience caused.

Would not recommend! This hotel would have been spectacular a few years ago, but is now very rundown and in need of major tlc. The grounds are unkempt and full of rubbish. The room itself was OK, but very dated. I walked my friend back to her room upstairs, around midnight on the night of 29th Nov and the front doors were wide open with nobody on reception. A room key had been left in an envelope on the desk with the guest name and personal details, and instructions on how to find their room. Not very professional in my view. At the time of booking (12th Nov) a continental breakfast was included in the room fee, we have the confirmation and receipt stating this. However when we arrived the following morning for breakfast we were told that this had changed the previous week and we would have to pay extra for breakfast. We showed the staff our booking confirmation, which clearly stated that breakfast was included and asked to speak to a manager. The staff on reception apparently messaged a manager, to be told that it doesn't apply anymore and we would need to pay. We therefore left and found breakfast elsewhere for much better value. I contacted the hotel stating that according to our booking a breakfast was included and this should have been honoured. I was told the same, the rules had changed and breakfast was now extra. They did not seem bothered that they had broken the terms of our booking. We feel that the owners are happy allowing this place to run into the ground
