It was ok, the main issue was that the room was so hot, I had the window open the whole time I was there, but the room was so hot and stuffy, and I spoke to other guests who were staying there for the same conference, and they said the same thing. The other thing was that there was dripping outside the main entrance of the hotel that smelt, I don't know what it was, but it wasn't pleasant. The room itself was clean, and the staff were friendly

Room was alright for the price, could have been cleaner, staff extra helpful when we wanted more towels and pillows they were provided, was a nice stay however the rooms are dated and the bed wasn’t fixed in place and instead on wheels which made things a little awkward as it kept moving around when I would get up. Hotel itself very clean and looked after; lifts are also clean which is surprising Probably would stay again but wouldn’t be my first choice.

Convenient location. Good size room with Huge king size bed, but tiny pillows to go with it. Noisy room - could clearly hear the neighbours, children running up and down the corridor, as well as traffic noise. Bed sheet had numerous rips, curtains had stains on and did not meet in the middle. The chair was stained, table and luggage area were chipped and the room needed some general TLC and touch ups. Foul smell at entrance to reception and in the bathrooms (we had 2 rooms on different floors). Shower was hot but pressure wasn’t great. Overall, it served its purpose as a convenient place to lay our heads for a few hours following an event, but I will probably look for an alternative next time.

First room allocated two lights not working, second room have no Tv remote, 3 trips to room by staff on first night got tv working, Two trips on second night resulted in me getting a remote that worked On returning second night room had not been cleaned, when I mentioned this to reception I was informed that I should have requested this to be done, when I pointed that I had not been told this on checking in, I did get an apology Faulty Towers would be a good description of this hotel

Excellent value for money. Good all round hotel with basic facilities. Good size king room, staff very friendly and informative, tea and coffee available in room but no biscuits, Nespresso would have been better as offered by other hotels in the area. Good size desk for working on but only 2 sockets, both used for hairdryer and TV, and no USB points. wifi had good signal and easy to connect to. Only 1 plug sockets near the bed and again no USB. Hair dryer, safe, iron and board also supplied in the room. Shower was ok, could have been more powerful but good enough and hot with soap available. Evening meal was tasty with good portion and friendly, efficient service. Breakfast buffet was good with a selection of hot food and some pastries/muffins, cereals, fruit etc with coffee machine. However, the food could have been hotter from the buffet. Parking available at reasonable price for the area £10 overnight, good size spaces and EV charge also on site at 55p per kw and £1 connection charge, which was a not great. For the price, this hotel is great value for money and has all you need.

Nice cool room on the north facing side, appreciated as there was no air conditioning or fan in the room. Decent cooked breakfast with really friendly and helpful staff on duty. Easy checking in and out. Use the multi-storey car park across the road, it's cheaper than the hotel's own and is locked at night, also your car will be in the shade.

Good room, good location - lovely 15 minute walk along the Quayside to get to the centre. Passed through an amazing Sunday Market with food from all over the world and lots of arts and craft stalls. Little niggles: stained duvet, no TV remote, broken hanger but all resolved quickly and efficiently. Big issue: lack of security - I was asked for my name when I got back after an evening out: very good, as it should be. However my friend who arrived back several hours later without a room key wasn't asked anything and was just handed another key. Could've been anyone! Have you learnt nothing from the recent Travelodge incident?

Clean room, friendly staff. A king bed but only 1 bedside light, so only 1 of us could read, why only 1 light? Also the shower wash bottle was empty, had not taken any so little bit annoying. But apart from that it was ok.
