Room was clean and tidy, no AC so a plug in fan would have been a good option in the summer months.
Being woken up at 12.45am with a woman screaming at a drive at the front door for over 25mins was totally unacceptable. Hotel should have dealt with this a lots faster. A lot of people were woken up due to this, and shouting from there windows. Don’t think I would recommend or be back!

Our go to hotel when we go to Newcastle. Great staff who are only too happy to help. Large car park so not usually any problem with parking even when the hotel is busy.
No ac in the rooms so was a little warm during the recent heatwave but they provided a fan when asked.
Water pressure can be an issue so don’t expect rainfall showers but serviceable.
Will be booking again as can usually get a good deal.

Friendly staff, great location and very clean and well maintained. However, rooms did not have AC which was very uncomfortable in the current heat esp with a 13.5 tog duvet! Bed was comfy enough, but their king is made from two singles pushed together without any topper.
Bar area seemed lovely, and great to have parking. Unfortunately the lack of air con means I wouldn't stay again, which is a shame.

The room was a great size and very comfortable. The chair for the desk wasn't too comfortable to work in for a long time, but it did for what I needed. The bathroom was great. I love that it was a shower and a wet room rather than a bath.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. The staff in the breakfast room were really really cheerful and friendly.
The only downside I would say is they had a leak outside the front which didn't smell very nice, so it's not a great first impression as you walk through the door. But other than that, I had a really lovely stay. It was really comfortable and a really great value, in walking distance from Newcastle, which is where my event was and all the fringe events and eateries.

It was ok, the main issue was that the room was so hot, I had the window open the whole time I was there, but the room was so hot and stuffy, and I spoke to other guests who were staying there for the same conference, and they said the same thing. The other thing was that there was dripping outside the main entrance of the hotel that smelt, I don't know what it was, but it wasn't pleasant.

Room was alright for the price, could have been cleaner, staff extra helpful when we wanted more towels and pillows they were provided, was a nice stay however the rooms are dated and the bed wasn’t fixed in place and instead on wheels which made things a little awkward as it kept moving around when I would get up.
Hotel itself very clean and looked after; lifts are also clean which is surprising
Probably would stay again but wouldn’t be my first choice.

Convenient location. Good size room with Huge king size bed, but tiny pillows to go with it. Noisy room - could clearly hear the neighbours, children running up and down the corridor, as well as traffic noise. Bed sheet had numerous rips, curtains had stains on and did not meet in the middle. The chair was stained, table and luggage area were chipped and the room needed some general TLC and touch ups. Foul smell at entrance to reception and in the bathrooms (we had 2 rooms on different floors). Shower was hot but pressure wasn’t great. Overall, it served its purpose as a convenient place to lay our heads for a few hours following an event, but I will probably look for an alternative next time.

First room allocated two lights not working, second room have no Tv remote, 3 trips to room by staff on first night got tv working, Two trips on second night resulted in me getting a remote that worked
On returning second night room had not been cleaned, when I mentioned this to reception I was informed that I should have requested this to be done, when I pointed that I had not been told this on checking in, I did get an apology
Faulty Towers would be a good description of this hotel
