I would like to spend some words. To begin with, it is worth highlighting the sweetness of VALENTINA. She just makes the difference at the reception. The Hotel is under Complete Renovation (NOT Maintenance). They should not take clients; Nobody informed us. We had to to walk through gypsum works. Works and workers start at 8am till 5pm. Very noisy doors. Old Hotel: bad insulation, you can hear the upper floors walking. Very Bad Experience: they should close the Hotel During Renovation. This is unethical. Otherwise: Very Nice Staff

Great location and potential but the hotel is in renovation that was not disclosed when reserving. I was assigned to floor 5 and the lift stops at 4 where I needed to climb with luggage. The room is a mixture of great renovation together with old items that rather be fixed.

Property was undergoing mass renovations during our stay. When we booked, we were informed of a lobby and restaurant renovation, however it affected the entire building. The lift was not in use. The water supply was turned off during one of our days. The staff did try to accommodate our requests however we feel that reservations should not have been taken during this time. The hotel should have been closed. This did not meet our expectations of a vacation.

Hotel is under ongoing renovation with dust everywhere, no lobby area, no working elevator for whole duration of my stay. My room was on fifth floor so I had to go up and down the stairs. I have leg mobility issues that made climbing stairs BERY DIFFICULT. Disappointing. That Hotels.com didn’t inform me about condition of the Leonard’s hotel. I was not given a chance to book another hotel in reasonable time.

It was ok. The staff were friendly but it has a musty smell and looks like it hasn’t been renovated in ages. The room was cold and I had the heating on blast. There was a very annoying gold heavy chain as a curtain covering the toilet area which I thought was annoying and unhygienic. Great location but I wouldn’t stay again.

I had booked a double bed and the room we had allocated had 2 singles. This was a special occasion and was a very disappointing start. However it was made up by an upgrade to a suite. The staff worked hard to rectify the embarrassing situation but it wasn’t great at the beginning.

The hotel was very run down Photos depicted were from prior years. There were children & adults hanging in the lobby on couches during day that were not guests. Wall paper peeling in the room. Paid for a deluxe room and given a standard. The room was not ready when we arrived. Sent a request for 2 twins and they set up when we arrived. The staff was curtious. Outdoor hotel lights -lanterns were out. Told them about it and was never fixed. Would not recommend this hotel, buyer beware. Pictures are not what they seem.

The room was very small - there was a shower in the corner of the room separated with a metal bead curtain (definitely not ‘en-suite’ as advertised) - the bed was not comfortable at all - the side hallway and stairs leading up to the room were dark/dingy and smelly. Definitely not up to the standards for a room that was $260

Overall a good choice that I would be happy to recommended. I appreciated a free upgrade from single room to classic double. Clean and comfortable room and bed, with responsive air-con/heating. Staff generally polite and friendly, BUT I felt very uncomfortable being asked to hand over my phone when I asked for wifi details at Reception. This seemed very odd and inappropriate. (There were bank cards in the phone cover and I regard my phone as generally private) However when he saw I clearly didn't want to do this, the man on reception gave me the information needed. At the time I thought his strange demand must be something to do with the hotel not wanting to tell customers a code directly. But in hindsight, I wonder if an assumption was being made about an older women not being competent to do it herself?! Either way, please do review this practice!
