Very easy self check in before arrival making a quick way to our room. Polite and pleasant staff, warm and comfortable surroundings on a freezing day/night. Room was fully equipped with all we needed for our stay and a great breakfast the next morning. We also ate here the night before and enjoyed our meal as we had previous visits. Our 3rd stay here and just as good as the first time. Thank you.

Great staff from when we arrived the bar was well stocked with cocktails and real ales to the top shelf. Breakfast was very well laid out. The room was so nicely done we’re definitely coming again

Unfortunately they had oversold our room type and thus had to downgrade us to a standard room. Unfortunately as this was a special event it left a challenge and having to rebook an event as simply it wasn’t appropriate to do it with what we were given. A shame as have been there before and they do look after you.

Very cosy, excellent food, excellent overall. Only issue is booking a king room based on images on hotels.com showing a bath for the king room facilities. I phoned the Inn in advance to make sure I had a room with bath and was told yes. But arrived on the day and told none of the king rooms have baths.

Lovely hotel and really nice staff. Restaurant was excellent. Room lovely but a little too cold. I get it, electricity is very expensive to heat hotel rooms, but I don’t think there was any heating on whole time we were there and the thermostat on the wall was disconnected. But there was a lovely hot shower, comfortable bed, and great breakfast. Would come back again maybe in summer when don’t need the heating on. Or stay on higher floors maybe, won’t be as cold. Other than that, the stay was perfect!

Lovely stay overnight for a family visit. Staff are really welcoming and friendly and the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Room had everything we needed and was a good size. Would definitely recommend and will return in future.

We had a lovely stay at the White Hart. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good although we had booked to stay on a Sunday so that we could all have a roast dinner and were disappointed to find that there wasn’t a single roast left. However the food we ordered was still good.
