Elsol Hotel

This was by far one of the worst hotel stays I have ever experienced. The property failed to provide basic amenities, and the staff behavior was completely unacceptable. The room did not have a TV, even though this was clearly listed as an amenity when we booked. When we asked the staff about it, no solution was offered and no effort was made to correct the issue. We paid for certain standards, and the hotel simply did not deliver. The most disturbing part of the stay was the way we were treated by staff. A staff member threatened to throw our belongings out of the room if we did not make a payment before 12 PM. Speaking to guests in a threatening manner is completely unprofessional and unacceptable under any circumstances. It created a very uncomfortable and intimidating environment. Breakfast was also included in our booking, but in the morning we were told they had “run out of stock.” This is not a minor inconvenience — it shows poor management and lack of basic planning. If breakfast is advertised and paid for, it must be available to guests. We had to leave the hotel without eating. The location only made things worse, as it is inconvenient and added unnecessary stress to an already terrible experience. Overall, this hotel showed a serious lack of professionalism, organization, and respect for guests. I would strongly advise others to avoid staying here.

The best value for your money. Absolutely no hotel can beat this place in Addis. This would be a 5 STAR hotel if it was located on the main street. Friendly staff, Great breakfast, super clean rooms, comfortable beds, walking distance to authentic restaurants and cafe's. I have stayed for 5 nights and now I am extending my stay.

Hotel is very clean and the staff is very polite, but WiFi is horrible and it works half the day and when it works its crappy Tv is worthless bracket it not connected to WiFi nor satellite they promised to fix it 3 times but they didn't until i moved to another hotel

The girls and boys are very good for the help I need there is no ??? . The area very far from the description the Internet connection is very bad and to get rest very impossible too much noise from the people who cleaned the room or the Neighborhood overall I give this place less than one point from 10 disgusting.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Customer Service!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The customer service was truly exceptional – every staff member I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and well taken care of. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything I needed for a relaxing stay. It’s clear that the hotel takes pride in maintaining high standards across the board. What truly stood out, though, was the team. From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff were not only professional but genuinely warm and helpful. Their hospitality made a real difference and elevated the whole experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a smooth, enjoyable stay with top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Exceptional customer service. To further enhance the guest experience, it would be beneficial to include a chest refrigerator, kettle, and tea-making facilities in the room. Additionally, providing a few hangers in the closet and a safe for securing valuables would add to the overall comfort and convenience for guests

The rooms are amazing, showers are terrible no partition between the shower and the toilet. The entire bathrrrom floor gets wet when you shower, this is a theme in Addis, why don’t they build showers with tub or partition ? No food service and the location is in a sketchy alleyway that no taxi can find. If this hotel was on Main Street it would be worth double.

New hotel in the residential area

Good place fir the price. All around, very resourceful and cooperative staff. Safe and secure place. However, neighbourhood doee not look safe place to walk during night time. Note the place is hotel-apartment, and it does not have basic hotel amenities such as restaurant , bar...free breakfast included. You have to eat lunch and dinner elsewhere. Wifi is hit and miss.

Positives: 1. The room and the entire facility were very clean and comfortable. 2. The room looked exactly as pictured and was very spacious. 3. The beds were comfortable and clean. 4. Very fast in-room wi-fi with reliable connection at all times. 5. The front desk and door staff were very friendly and helpful. Negatives: 1. We were told after checking-in that breakfast will not be included as advertised because the room had a kitchenet. They said it was an error on the site that breakfast was listed as included on the specific room booked. 2. The TV did not work the entire time. We complained multiple times and were told it was due to the weather (even on clear days). We were asked why we didn't notify management when we said it never worked at check-out, even though we notified the manager on the day we checked in. 3. The hotel's party/event room was directly above the room we booked, and it was extremely loud on days there were events. We were told about this after we checked-in and told it would be okay since the events will end by 10pm. Overall, the hotel and people were nice, but I would have gone somewhere else if it wasn't non-refundable and already paid for. I ended up spending 50% of the time elsewhere so I didn't want to make a fuss, but was very much annoyed by all the last-minute restrictions and notifications.
