Tokatoka Resort Hotel

Loved the pool and playground areas for the kids

It serves its purpose as a transit hotel by the airport for overnight incoming/outgoing tourists, but not a hotel i would choose to stay at for a holiday. The family rooms are big but basic, a few imperfections like cupboard doors that don't shut properly. Breakfast buffet was passable but not as good as other Fijian resorts we've stayed at. Pool is cold and not many sun loungers for the number of rooms but it is a fun pool for kids. Lunch is better than Breakfast. Staff are helpful and friendly. Portering staff are very prompt with bags. Ultimately we chose it for price and airport proximity but its not a holiday resort.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good. In general the property was clean and maintained but our room had a few minor issues like a loose door knob and such. We enjoyed our time at Tokatoka.

Great experience, great staff , great food , we arrived late and restaurant had 15mins before they close but they still managed to take a seat and ordered dinner. Only issue was the wifi wasn’t working in the room , only when I’m outside the room or at the restaurant and pool .

Close to Nadi airport and has a good, relaxing area with pool and playgrounds for kids. Shuttle to the airport is free. Great for a stay before an early flight. They do offer tours to local attractions, but some of these are at inflated prices.

Very family friendly, the pool is fun as is the water slide.

Easy to find, courtesy cars were very useful and they had someone at the airport waiting for us. Check-in was a breeze, the staff were lovely and friendly. Nice simple room for the 2 of us. Restaurant on site was so good, very filling and the complimentary breakfast was buffet with many options to choose from. I highly recommend!

I don't really have anything good to say about the property itself apart from the fact that the staff were friendly and easy to deal with. We stayed here for a night only as a stop over to our next leg once we landed. We were given the furthest away room. Not really an issue but had no WIFI connection. The room was more like a 1 star feel. Dirty, fridge had a bad odor (housekeeper definitely didn't clean this). Room had no phone, and when I advised the front reception, they were surprised to hear that room had no phone. QR system wouldn't work so I could get a in room dining service. Had to walk to the reception for all my requests. I would reconsider my options for my next trip. This place is not the same anymore.

We stayed in the 2 storey block, it almost feels like a prison cell, one side is windows/timber louvres looking towards AC units, the other side narrow slot windows by walkway, with dark ceilings and poor lighting. There is constant traffic noise by main road and airport. Uneven steps in the original stairs by the reception and 2 storey stairs are a bit of a hazard. If staying in the villas which are more internal Im sure they are quieter with less road noise. However the internal Villas/covered walkways give it a hospital/campus feel. Had frayed towels that they wouldn’t sell at an Op Shop. There’s an ok breakfast, only instant coffee (they want you to buy decent from the new coffee house) Good gym, but water cooler empty first thing, Courtyard by pool/breakfast works. As always friendly staff.

A great location being so close to the airport, for short stays its very convenient. The exterior and pool areas were very clean and well maintained. Units were also clean, but could do with a makeover they look quite tired and dated. Otherwise the property was very good value for money

Modest, budget friendly resort. Rooms are clean and comfortable, kitchen has tasty food, there is a cafe on site for real coffee and there is a pool and slippery slide for the kids.

Great spot to stay before early morning flights or to wait and catch the ferry the next day.

This property doesn’t provide simple things like tea/coffee and bottled water amenities in your room unlike most hotels. The hotel baggage help is poor, I called but no one showed up so had to carry my own bag from my room to the front desk to check out. The shuttle service was good. Overall I will give this hotel a 2 Star.

The staff has been very friendly and helpful. They answered phone calls promptly. The bathroom needs to be addressed as I found not very clean esp the floor. The fridge is very run down and water in it were frozen. Need at least a bowl and some saucers that would be idle.

Beautiful property, grass and shrubs/trees were near perfect. Very clean and well maintained. Nice clean room with few different channels on the TV.
