Fantastic hotel for ww2 enthusiasts. Mulberry harbour starts at the beach behind hotel. Way less tourists. Arromanches is a 2 minute drive. Highly recommend

The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. The availability of a small kitchen facility in the room was not advertised but very welcome. The TV channel 'list' in the room gave the impression that only 'local' channels were available when in fact (by luck) I found there were many more international news channels, etc. Which was a bonus. The location was very quiet (end of September) but well situated. Overall I had great visit and would not consider anywhere else should I return to the area in the future. Thanks

Receptionist Marie was fantastic throughout our trip. Even helped me practice my limited French vocabulary.
The hotel is little basic, but was great place for exploring the central DDay landing sites.
I would definitely stay at this place again

The town was quiet and pleasant. Location for Canadian WW2 memorials was perfect. The room was two levels with bathroom on main level and bedroom upstairs. No air con made the upper level very warm and stuffy. Could use a fan to help circulate the air.

It's a good basic place to stay - room was clean and orderly. Accomodations are basic and workable (e.g. bed slept comfortalbly and tub is deep enuff to soak in. Front Desk staff - Marie - was excellent in her service and engagement. Breakfast is more "continental" - breads, some cheeses, croissants, yogurt, cereals, basic fresh fruit. It's a clean place, a little dated, and a good value for the price charged.
