Excellent location for whar we wanted

Shower broken curtains hanging off reported and not repaired had to shower in another room but not moved room

La receptionist était très gentille et amical! Super génial et la chambre était bien pour mon voyage!

Great location for the beach and local restaurants. Hotel was clean but rooms were basic ideal for a short stay. Rooms could do with a deep clean and update. Reception staff very welcoming

Great room for families. My kids loved it. Great location. Easy to walk to the beach. Gold beach is awesome. Easy to visit D-day beaches from here.

Needs refurbishment

Excellent value hotel. Beds are comfy, staff are extremely friendly, location is brilliant. It's definitely not a luxury hotel, but is great for the price you pay. Clean, mini kitchen well equipped.

The staff were nice and friendly, a beautiful little hotel with great access for the area. The beach and historical sites nearby were wonderful to see. Breakfast was wonderdul and easy for the whole family. Definitely reccomend for any families looking to explore the coastal side of france !

This is mostly a family-oriented beach resort hotel. The rooms were comfortable , if a little worn. It is right on the beach, and I imagine that in high-season, it is lively. We arrived on a Sunday evening and there was no place to eat within a good few kilometers. The price for the room was modest but I thought that breakfast was pricey. Not that it was bad—-just a little high for rather ordinary fair.

I did have a great stay and it has a potential to be a great hotel. They did upgrade us which was so nice but it’s the little things like having hooks to hang your towel in the bathroom, they ask you to reuse your towels then there should be some where to hang them. Unfortunately I found the downstairs bed to be lumpy and that I was pretty sore when I woke up in the morning. My sister slept upstairs and said that hers was fine. The breakfast was worth it in the morning as there was a good choice. This is a great spot to stay, we did for two days and used that time to see all of the landing beaches and a couple museums, I would stay here again.

Stayed the 2 floor family unit. Really fun great setting very memorable while touring WW2 Normandy sites. The positives far outweighed the negatives and would stay here again! Positives: two story unit kitchenette, friendly staff, slight ocean view of Gold Beach, amazing sleeps with the window open at night with wind outside, tried two restaurants close by L’Overlord (pizza was surprisingly great) and the other restaurant on the other side of the building. Also free parking with security gate at night. Internet speed was fine. Ample amount of pillows and sheets in closet. Negatives: limited shampoo and soap. Great time and highly recommend especially if you’re with multiple people the two story setup gives a lot of breathing space downtime at night.

Overall it was a lovely place, the reason I gave 4* was the full ash tray outside my room and the massive gap under the room door you could limbo that let all the hallway bright light in all night (eventually I used towels to block the gap). It was very hot and there was no fan or air con (granted it was unusually hot), the worst bit though was we had to have the veranda door open to manage the temperature and there was a campsite a few doors down having a live gig that didn’t finish till gone 1am. While the noise and heat weren’t necessary the hotels fault some temperature control in the room would have been really appreciated. Would I stay again, probably not, we are early risers and the noise from the nearby campsite was just too much with the windows open and no air con. Overall though it was a nice hotel, continental breakfast was delightful, parking was great, staff were very friendly and helpful (uk plug adapter box behind reception = lifesaver). Plus the local food places were AMAZING. The area and local people were also brilliant, I would definitely return to the area.

Property is a little tired looking and scruffy around the edges. It needs a general repainting and bathroom remodel. Large areas of mould in the shower. Our room was very hot, thermostat showed 29.5°c and in the upper part of the room it would have been mid 30°s ,very uncomfortable. Upper part of the room needs a skylight to vent warm air out as there is no air conditioning in the room, which is probably fine 10-11 months of the year but not when it’s 32°c. Having said that it was in a good location, secure parking, staff were friendly and hotel was busy. The town is a little quiet compared to Arromanches-les-Bains 5mins up the road. But it’s 2mins walk from the beach and the couple of restaurants there is locally.

Excellent stay , the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and were extremely helpful and hospitable ensuring we got the very best from our stay at the hotel and surrounding area.

Avoid that place, it is not clean, it is noisy, it needs a huge refurbishment.

Generally a decent hotel and I would go back despite the lack of air conditioning and no desk to work from. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

Overall was very good. Not sure why the sink, with extra counter space was locked in the family room, but not really needed since we were only there 1 night. No AC.

This hotel was really good for the cost. We only stayed one night as a stop over to another destination but would deffinatly come back. Would not buy the breakfast though as it’s just bread
